"SCIENCE! POWER! (Bags for Huck)" - 2013
cowhide, gold paint, brass, plastic beads
A pair of "enchanted" saddle bags for my favorite dog.  A challenge for this project was the fastening system: there are no metal or manufactured parts.  Leather belts/straps attach the bags to the dog, and no metal means no chafing. There are extra slots on top for further storage, and a sturdy handle to carry dog and bags alike. The bags also conveniently fit on the rear rack of a bicycle.

"Crazed Weasels (Look Out For Pacman)" - 2012
cowhide, deerskin, brass hardware
This project was commissioned by a former trail guide/mountain climber.  In his prime he was involved with a group of adventurers who called themselves the "Crazed Weasels", and wanted an homage in this piece.  He uses the pouch to hold ammo for his favorite survivalist weapon, a trusty slingshot.

“Battle Rig for Taiko Hime (Variation)” 2013
cowhide, red cord, polyurethane, canvas army bag
This is a set I made a for a friend with an interest in throwing knives and adventures.  The bag and belt I had from previous projects, and the knives were purchased online.  I re-wrapped the handles, and modeled the leather knife pouch after samurai armor.

Picture Quality
You may have noticed a loss of photo quality in some recent posts.  I no longer live near my previous photographer and have yet to find an affordable replacement to document my projects.  I apologize for the lack of luster, but hope to fix the situation soon.  Thanks for checking in.
