Fanfic writers are the unsung heroes of the Internet

It always amazes me on how much effort and time fanfic writers will put into a story or even just a chapter. Just imagine writing an AU on something they know nothing about so they have to research the history of a different country, look up the rules and point system of a sport they have never played, or study and learn a subject they don’t know much about just because they wrote about a character who is good at marine biology or something.

It is amazing the amount of time and care that is put into writing each chapter just so other people can read their work for free. Fanfic authors don’t expect the readers to pay them for their work, all they would like is a comment and a like on their chapters to tell them that the reader likes their writing and story.

I wanted to write this as an appreciation post to all the amazing fanfic authors out there because without them people wouldn’t have countless hours of free entertainment.

This is why I don’t tell 99% people im bisexual

I Freakin’ Hate High School...

Have a little rant brought to you by me.

Okay, so even though we have, like, 6 & 1/2 days left of school, for some reason i still have to do a big research paper and presentation with it as well as another big test that isn’t even our final because we already did our final? Like, what the hell? I haven’t even been able to start the freaking paper that was due at least two weeks ago or the note cards or outline that came before it? Then I still have another big project as well as a final in another class, with notes to go with that. Like, what even? It’s the end of the year? There’s no way in hell I’m going to be able to do this paper or presentation (which we have to present in front of the class. Also we can’t read off of our power point, we have to use it as a guideline as we speak and basically make stuff up as we go along.) Not to mention everyone in the school I go to are either idiots or annoying unless they’re my friends. I have no idea how I’m supposed to do these assignments and I can’t work on them at school because the old-ass devices (dell venues) that we have to use, mine won’t work. And my crippling anxiety keeps me from asking to get it fixed. So, I have been going a semester more-or-less without anything to work with at school and I have to do almost all my work online because apparently once you get to high-level high school classes, they forget that paper exists. And then I’m tired as hell because I’m trying to get work done and I can’t get enough sleep and I currently have, like, a severe cold or something on top of it all. I swear, I’m being homeschooled next year. Maybe I’ll actually have grades up to my standards...
