Was there ever a time when Ethari got really mad and yelled at someone?
He has, in fact, raised his voice to me. Which I wholeheartedly deserved. Sometimes he has to use sheer volume to make an impact among my tightly ordered personal processes and rituals.
I never mean to be stubborn or dismissive. But it's in my nature to act swiftly, and it's hard to take those choices back, afterward.

I miss his hands.
All of him, of course, but... his hands, the most. Who is Ethari without his hands, without the wondrous magics they can craft, without that tender placement of his gifts into your care?
If Ethari cares for you, it is impossible not to notice. Even for me, stubborn fool that I am. I am covered in proof of his love, from my horns to my heels. My husband loves me. And yet, here I waste, apart from him. Is there any elf more un-loved than one forcibly separated from his husband by cruel magic, taken so far that neither Moon nor craftsman can reach him?
And yet. In my heart, I know it still: Ethari loves me.
I know my own suffering. With every breath, I know it. But Ethari... does he not suffer more? Without the Moon, he cannot find me. He thinks me lost. (And lost I am, but not that sort of lost.) Surely, his heart struggles more for believing me gone. At least I know he lives, safe in the Silvergrove where none can harm him.
I must return to him. I must show him I still live. It is the only way to end his torment. There must be some way out of here, some way back. I need to find him-
But what to say, once I am there?
No. No mere words will suffice. Any trick can talk, any illusion can elucidate. I need something more. Something he will know immediately as me - the true me.
A kiss. No magic can replicate the way I kiss my husband. He would know me blind by the way I kiss his lips.
It's settled. I will find a way out. And then I will kiss my husband. And then he will feel better.
And then, finally, so will I.

...Yes. However, I don't quite understand what he means when he says it. I have the body of an elf who has dedicated almost every waking hour of his life to achieving a strong, weapons grade form. To find it cute is...confusing. But he has my trust, and he seems to be enjoying himself, so I let him.
