This is actually is a theory I've had for a while now, that Dan was (is? will be??) a clone.

I may not be an expert in the phandom and the lore, so I'd really appreciate if someone could correct or confirm this, but here goes nothing:

call me dumb, but I never really understood why Dan wanted to kill them. Yes, yes, he's not our Danny and he wants to ensure his existence. But even then, our Danny would rather die again than do that.

even if we blamed Vlad's side on this, wouldn't he have wanted to save Maddie at least?

Here's the thing with Vladimir Masters: I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. Not a single word he says.

Also why does Danny go to live with him? I understand that he's the kid's godfather, but shouldn't he have gone with aunt Alicia since she's his next of kin instead?

I could be wrong in that, though, legal matters are not my thing

take a moment to analyze Vlad's version of what happened and it doesn't really make sense to me. Danny's family and friends die and he's sent to live with Vlad.. and then he asks Vlad to remove his ghost half?

which then unalives his human half but leaves Vlad to tell the tale.. I mean, if you're gonna start on the murder path why not kill one of the few that could get in the way?

Here's what I think could've happened (even tho it doesn't make any more sense than canon): I truly think Dan is a clone

we know Vlad is capable of doing that, aand with the accident Vlad is left alone. no more Maddie, no more Danny since he goes away with his aunt, not even more planning on killing/getting revenge on Jack since he's already dead

so what if he created a clone of Danny then? to stop being alone again, to have a son who won't leave, who knows at this point

it would explain better why Dan killed Danny, in my opinion. the clones aren't exactly shy to go all Cain on him

it'd explain why he left Vlad alive, even though he has no use for him

and why he'd try to make the accident happen. it's not that he wants Danny to turn into him

it's that that is truly when he was born. because with no accident Vlad wouldn't have made him

he wouldn't be created

so yeah, I think Vlad forked up and Danny had to carry the blame.

What if “Dark Dan” really was enviable?

Like he’s a fixed point in history, he has to exist, but there are different ways to go about bringing him into the timeline.

One’s that lead to a better out come.

And I know I normally talk clones with @dp-marvel94 and @everystarstorm so im gonna tag you two.

But what if the new timelines Dan is a clone that was made with both Danny and Vlads DNA and Ectosigniture?

Like the kid looks exactly like a young Dan.

And it gives Danny the scare of his life.

Okay but I just love the idea of Ben actually being smarter than he leads on.

Like, he has the DNA mixed with aliens smarter than humans, he knows stuff that plumbers have to take the courses to know this type of stuff if they wasn't that alien to begin with.

Grampa Max can see this part of Ben, he sees his grades are up, he sees him understanding these things that he wasn't taught about, he can also see the insecurity Ben has and so he doesn't show this part of himself.

The insecurities comes from his battle with low-self esteem he hides in a shield of egotistical confidence and (My headcanon) Dyslexia, so he thinks he's not as smart as Gwen or his grampa, or even Kevin! He feels like he is dumb and so he just plays what he thinks he is.

He doesn't see it until he gets older and starts seeing his worth.

Maybe this was told already, but I'd like to know

Zuko was banished after he lost in an agni kai against his father, and that was after he spoke up in a meeting in defense of a group of soldiers, right?

...did those soldiers ever know? That the prince was banished because of them? Because Zuko didn't want them to be sent to their deaths?

Or did they die before ever knowing?

Did they die, and if so, does Zuko feel even worse because of that?
