Art from last year since sadly I was tied up in other nonsense (and on Arpeggio’s bed a few times but ssshhh) to come up with a new art for this year, but I still love this LOL

My bestie is playing the Sly Cooper games for themselves and

Highkey when I played Sly 2 like for the first time I was expecting something like this to play out when Neyla/Clock-la said she could feel “some power growing within me”; I assumed that “some power” was Clockwerk’s consciousness taking over, but alas.

"I wish the real Clockwerk "woke up" at some point in Sly 2 and that even if Neyla still tried to take Clockwerk's body for her own that Clockwerk would have taken control back and we could have actually heard them fighting for control. Like imagine the terror Neyla would feel once Clockwerk woke back up and she realizes her life is in more danger now than ever before."

I initially thought she was supposed to be a tabby cat LOL especially because in the Episode 2 her ears are visible and they’re lil and pointy so from that I assumed she was a cat!

To this day I refuse to accept that she’s a tiger and she will forever be a tabby kitty to me 😤

I wasn’t aware til last night that this ringtone was added with a recent iOS update (I think) so I had a heart attack when I went to change the ringtone for the timer on my phone and saw my husband’s name below my purchased ringtones LMAOOO

I used to be the kind of person who usually never played different/new (to me) video game franchises without playing someone else’s copy first or being recommended to me by someone who knows me well enough, so when I got Sly 2 for Christmas in 2008 I legit assumed I wouldn’t like it (I’d never even heard of Sly Cooper before) and just played Spyro: The Eternal Night and put off playing Sly 2 because I was familiar with Spyro but for whatever dumb reason I thought I wouldn’t like another game franchise that also very clearly had animal characters LOL.

Can’t believe how I fucking told myself that I wouldn’t enjoy Sly 2 considering it literally changed my life and also gave me the love of my life LMFAOOO.

I mentally ill’d myself into forgetting that Arpeggio is canonically deceased

No fucking way did my sister and I go to the aquarium on Sly 2’s anniversary/Arpeggio’s birthday and found out they have a sea lion named NEYLA (except it’s spelled “Nila”) there now LMFAOOO

I don’t think I need to explain to longtime followers of mine, but for those unaware I observe the release date of Sly 2 as Arpeggio’s birthday and now it’s canon to me LOL. For this year’s Arpeggio birthday art, he’s watching his wife (yours truly) giving their son flying lessons, which Arpeggio cannot do as he himself is unable to fly. In fact, he actually didn’t want any children to begin with for fear of passing on his “faulty” genes, not wanting any offspring of his to suffer the same torment and upset he did as a child due to his smallness. After Samantha persuaded him into having a child, Arpeggio quietly feared for years that their son, Arpeggio Jr., would develop Arpeggio’s mysterious affliction.

While Arpeggio feels sadness at not being able to give his son flight lessons, he’s at least happy that he can, thus ending years of fretting.
