🐾 Dog!Dog!Dog! Charity Zine Goes to Jullian’s Home Foster 🐾
On Saturday, January 4th, the host of the zine, @kinkousen accompanied by her husband visited Jullian’s Home Foster to donate the funds we raised from selling the zine. It was truly a memorable experience I ever had 😊
We were welcomed warmly by the founder and the staff, and the first cuties we saw were the cats! 🐱 Yes, they’re also taking care of stray cats around the shelter, they prefer not to cage the cats and let them roam freely, but they always came for meal time!
Inside, we were immediately ‘attacked’ by another pack of cuties, the doggos! 🐶 They were very energetic and friendly, curious about new people they met that day. There are approximately 64 dogs in their care. Besides the small dogs, they were also medium and big dogs in the different area of the shelter with variative types of breeds like Siberian Husky, Samoyed, Shih Tzu, French Bulldog, etc (the domestic ones are also lovely!).
After looking around the shelter, we finally sat down and start discussing about animal welfare, especially dogs. This nonprofit organization faced difficult periods multiple times, especially because dogs aren’t really favored as pets in our country, where Islam is the majority religion (me and the founder are Muslims ourselves, but there’s nothing wrong with treating animals kindly!). Animal’s well-being is not taken seriously by the government and most of the people here… But Mr. Jullian and JHF staff is relentlessly doing their best to raise awareness about these problems and stigma, let’s support their amazing dedication in any way we can! 💪
The amount of donation is Rp. 24.375.000 or approximately 1,771 USD, this is not a small number at all! 🎉🎊🎉 We are so proud and glad to be able to give 😊
For those living in Bandung, able and have the commitment to adopt a dog, please give those cuties a chance, they won’t disappoint you! Afterall, Mr. Jullian’s best moments are when the dogs were adopted to a loving family.
Before I went home, they gave me token of gratitude in a form of cat grooming set! My beloved 12 years old Kiara-chan at home would be so pleased, thank you very much! They’re just so so so kind 😭 I’d love to visit again sometime soon! ❤
We would like to thank you for everyone involved in this project, the artists, those who purchased the zine, the staff of JHF and you! This has been an amazing and wholesome experience, surely we won’t stop here 🙌

playing any game with romances causes me to make up approximately seven million little stories in my head that lead absolutely nowhere and are nothing but my character and the character i have chosen travelling and protecting each other in combat and giving each other meaningful looks when something is amiss and making each other laugh and having really deep conversations about life and death and what a shitty situation they’re in
