Thank you for 3 remarkable years, KHχ. Even though Unchained has come to overshadow you, none of us will ever forget all that you’ve done. Without you, I’m certain I wouldn’t have become as close to some of my friends as I am today, wouldn’t have met all the wonderful people I now call friends. You are the one who first introduced us to the wonderful story of χ, and all of its lovable characters. You are the one who gave birth to this amazing community in the KH fandom. We may have moaned and groaned at the idea a CoM-esque MMO when you were first announced, but you turned out to be so much more than that. And for that, I’m thankful.

Thank you, for all the memories we’ve made through you; for all the fun times you’ve given us; for all the conversations and friendships you started. You will always be held close to our heart. Thank you KHχ, and farewell.

KHX[chi]-Hair color variants

When the maintenance ends and I can get the remaining haircuts, I’ll begin the screenshot spree. The KHInsider website doesn’t give the colors for each haircut so if anyone wants to request some for drawing reference like Hades flaming hair in white, message me please. Worldbuilding with @futuristicallysuperawesome for Kingdom Hearts Unchained X ended up being the sole basis for this doodle. The question popped up in how is it that Keyblade Wielders can tell a fellow member from another, and this is pretty much the end product.

Basically, union jewelry, in which you have a pretty basic circlet for Unicornis, a choker for Anguis, a belt for Ursus, an anklet for Vulpes, and a bracelet for Leopardos.

When you first meet your Foreteller, depending on which Union you are a part of, you’ll get one of these. Now these are just the complete basics (you’re not stuck with it for life unless you want to). You can remove the jewel from the item and place it elsewhere, so long as it matches the location belonging to your union (I’ll get to that in a bit).

The purpose of the jewel on the jewelry is to collect the Lux you get from defeating Heartless. It’s how you “level up” and get stronger which each battle, so having the jewel on you at all times is a must. It also pretty much protects you from hits that would normally kill you and minimizes damage you receive…because magic and stuff, in case anyone wants to know.

For that reason alone, the instant your Foreteller places one of the above items on you…you can’t remove it. You’re stuck with it until you’ve gotten strong enough, unless you go to your Foreteller for help and considering Ursus has a belt…you might want to avoid putting the belt through the loops.

(Aced has to deal with his and his union’s mistakes every once in a while when he gets new members because of this situation. Of course, then you have some of the older and more experienced members feeling a bit mischievous, so newer members beware).

KHX-Foretellers’master

I have a few headcanons for this guys since he’s been revealed as the black coat with sketchy behaviour.

Shitty parent figure: says he’s gone on a trip for three days and comes back two months later, loses his apprentices during trips due to extreme focus on on-going projects, regularly ‘borrows’ and forgets to give back stuff. Many times not remembering to take enough equipments for everyone(the apprentices actually think for a week that’s the reason the sixth doesn’t have a tome).

Random future sight: “EVERYONE, buy black leather and zippers those are the future of fashion! Also anthropomorphics animals wearing clothes! GIANT keys to hit people with!” The foretellers actually received the replica ORGXIII coats(the ones with the stars straps) and sold them realizing Keyblade wielders would pay great cash for those.

He didn’t even pretend to be dead, the master just gave them the task then walked off like nothing was wrong(everyone was panicking and he found it hilarious).

KHX-Nerds at war

I had a mighty need to draw the browser chi/Keyblade war trio. Poor Skuld is stuck with the drama baes… I am actually happy how the coloring came out(better than the paper version).

Headcanon time!

. There is a curfew for the newest/youngest members so they don’t get lost or ambushed by Heartless. For the same reason, they are not allowed to go hunting alone for the first weeks or months.

. Once the keyblade wielders have enough experience and money, they can request moving to a flat or an individual room(this why the Player’s romm is showed so late in-game).

. Every year, members start a competion to steal their Foreteller’ mask. Only to realize there’s another mask.

New Year/Christmas gift(chi players)

All players have received 3000 charge munny as a gift, enjoy it folks or save it for later. It’s up to you.

For winter headcanon needs

All experimented keyblade wielders make clothing donations when the cold winds comes to the newest members and use their excess of munnies to make sure the dormitories are heated correctly. Also occasionally set up hot drinks stands around town.

Headcanon time!

During Halloween in Daybreak Town, young keyblade wielders wear Donald, Goofy or Mickey costumes in hope to get as strong as their heroes of the future. The elder members even recommend it to raise the kids’ confidence.
