10: Marinette and the moving castle
The castle creaked and wheezed its way up the hill, green smoke puffing out of its chimneys like a sickly mist. For most people, it would have been a terrifying sight. Wizard Chat Noir ate pretty girl's hearts, after all. But for Marinette, sprawled on the grass next to a seven-league-boot, and creaking and wheezing more than the castle, it was as welcome as a cup of tea after a long day.

fuck it, I'm romanticizing underrated ao3 works now. 8,000 word fics with only 13 kudos, even after 5 months. multi-chaptered works with only 11 comments from the same 3 people and the author themself. incredibly specific works featuring OC's mingling with canon characters that only get 5 kudos. rare-pair fics. gift works that are literally ONLY for the receiver.

So after I made my last AO3 work skin, insanewordcount and I were discussing the different possibilities of implementing more visual elements in fanfiction without resorting to static images. So consider this a start of a series I guess? The following tutorial will show to make Post-It sticky notes without having to use images. While knowledge of CSS is nice, I don’t believe it’s necessary because I will explain each aspect of the coding and how to tweak it your benefit.

idk if it’s just how my very silly brain operates but does anybody else get like. a weird second wave of procrastination right before you finish something. like you already did 70-90% of the work, it realistically won’t take you that long to be done, but for some reason. u just can’t. like. time’s up on executive function. like. oh sorry did you want to not be worried about this? bc im going to make u have to be worried about this. thanks!
