Upcoming Events and Projects for 2024
I have the first draft for the fic of Hopper being Jon's dad post season 3 I mentioned in an ask not too long ago done. A second is in the works and should be up relatively soon
Like I said before, I want to complete the works I could for Stonathan/Stoncy/Jancy week I missed. I hate leaving anything I started unfished (Why I don't upload chaptered fics I haven't totally completed) But I was too busy with school to do them then.
I've been kicking around ideas for a Littlespace AU. I think Jonathan would be the cutest Little ever
I don't have any events I'm working on at the moment, but I'm on the lookout for future ones or when the ones I was in this year come back around

This is a subject that really interests me because I (28 years old) had computer classes in grade school where learning how to efficiently type was a big focus. As a result I have a very high WPM (words per minute) count and am an excellent touch typer.
However, I've heard that they started phasing out computer classes in a lot of schools because it's assumed that kids/teenagers already know how to use a computer in this day and age. But smartphones are more popular than computers now, and as result a lot of Gen Z/Gen Alpha kids are able to text very quickly but their typing skills aren't as good.

I think out of the ones I haven't seen yet, I'm most intrigued by Stonathan + Jargyle for the WIP ask!
Hello, lovely!
Here are the vibes: (Jancy are besties, and Jon is single) Steve had been crushing hard on Jon for a while when he moved to Cali. He comes back, Argyle in tow. Jargyle being Jargyle, no one is sure if they're dating or what. Steve is jelly and goes out of his way to try and woo Jon, spending a ton of time with the pair, trying to drive Argyle away.
But Jon is oblivious and Argyle is super chill, so it's not quite working. In fact, Argyle is super nice and gentle and great, and he gets why Jon likes him so much. Argyle, meanwhile, is happy to have another chill bro with awesome hair that's fun to talk to, and they get Very close.
I imagine it as a 3-way 'they didn't know they were dating' almost. Each in the throuple assumes the other two are in love, not knowing they're part of it, while everyone looks on this mess not really sure what's happening.
Endgame Stongyle (? Is that the name) This trio has so much potential and it is underutilized.

I would like to know more abt hopper is Jonathan’s dad post s3!
Ask and ye shall receive, my friend!
Basically, after S3, Jon has to get back surgery after the hospital fight, and thru blood types, finds out Lonnie isn't his dad. The only other person it could be is Hopper, who supposedly just died. No one knew, and now they have to deal with that.
Here's a snippet of Jon starting to truly mourn his father in a way he hasn't before:

“I…” Jonathan starts, licking his dry lips, “I miss my dad.” A few more tears slip out, but he doesn’t have the energy to keep crying.
“Oh,” Will whispers, “You don’t mean Lonnie, do you?”
“No,” Jonathan squeaks. Will is quiet for a long moment, just rubbing his brother’s back. Jonathan takes a gasping breath.
“I-I know it’s stupid,” Jonathan whispers, “A-And I don’t-didn’t know him, but-” Jonathan cuts himself off, and Will’s grip tightens on him.
“It’s not stupid,” Will soothes, “It’s fine to miss your dad. I still miss Lonnie every once in a while, even if I know I shouldn’t.”
“I’m sorry,” Jonathan mumbles.
“Hey, we’re here for each other, right? That’s what brothers are for.”
