Tamagotchi Morino Guide

I was thinking about how I saved the Morino evolution information before Tama-Zone went down and I figured I’d share it under the cut :)

So the Morino is unique in that it starts with two eggs (this is before the fancy DIgimon 20th multi egg pets!)

The spotted black egg always hatches straight into the child form Imotchi. It then evolves into Kabutotchi. Kabutotchi differs from the traditional tamagotchi in that it has a “growth” feature. Feeding it the fourth food option that occasionally shows up in the menu will cause it to grow in length. Raise the largest beetle you can!

The white egg hatches into Babymotchi, which follows traditional tamagotchi growth (where care effects evolution) however, the evolution for the Morino is primarily weight based. Care mistakes only matter for obtaining the secret characters Twinaritchi and Helmetchi.

So we’re gonna follow this growth chart from Tama-Zone

Cocoon A: Get Imotchi to 40-50 grams.

Koganetchi is from Hotter Temperatures during the cocoon.

Tentotchi is from Colder temperatures during the cocoon.

Cocoon B: Get Imotchi to 30-39 grams.

Chobitchi is from Hotter Temperatures during the cocoon.

Minotchi is from Colder temperatures during the cocoon.

Cocoon C: Get Imotchi to 51+ grams.

Mushibatchi is from Hotter Temperatures during the cocoon.

Gejitchi is from Colder temperatures during the cocoon.

Cocoon D: Get Imotchi to 0-29 grams.

Minotchi is from Hotter Temperatures during the cocoon.

Funkorogatchi is from Colder temperatures during the cocoon.

Secret Characters:

All the sources online as of 2022 tell you to raise Imotchi to exactly 40 grams by feeding only snacks for the secret characters. I have first hand experience (with Twinaritchi) that this is not accurate. The key weight here for both characters is 50 grams.

Twinaritchi: Get Imotchi to exactly 50 grams by feeding him only candy and keep him there. Never let him get hurt by a predator or get a care mistake. Once he enters the cocoon, set the temperature to Hot and cook that bad boy for 20 hours, after the 20 hour mark, set the temperature to cold. It should hatch directly into Twinaritchi.

Helmetchi: Get Imotchi to exactly 50 grams by feeding him only candy and keep him there. Never let him get hurt by a predator or get a care mistake. When he enters his cocoon keep the temperature fairly neutral. Once he hatches if things are going correctly he should emerge as Imotchi. This is the correct outcome and shows you that you’re on the right path. Reduce his weight to 40 grams and keep him there, keep feeding him only candy and take perfect care of him. When he cocoons a second time keep the temperature neutral again. He should emerge as Helmetchi.

Author’s Note: To be honest I’ve personally gotten Twinaritchi but I don’t remember if I ever got Helmetchi. If the 40 grams doesn’t work for the second cocooning and they emerge as a different mushitchi, then I’m sorry. You should try reducing his weight to 30 grams on your next run and send me a message saying that I’m a big dummy if it works.

Mini Mushiking news: I recently discovered over on my Twitter that Adā’s curse can be cured with the “crystal” item, which can be won with level 2 zunzun & above.

This is great news, because many of us with Mushiking vpets are frustrated by this mechanic, which makes your beetle fly away the next day & you lose all progress.

Now there is a cure! HOWEVER, it doesn’t make you immune, so stay wary of the evil wizard Adā!

Absolutely check this out yall! This is such a good virtual pet sim full of magic and witches! And LGBTQ+ inclusion as your witch grows up and changes their pronouns, and a sexuality when they become an Adult! Here’s my baby! and I love her *so* much! This is her as a Teen She/Her. DVPet (Tournament Mode): Ancientbeatmon

Hey y’all! Totally didn’t update while he we Rhinokabuterimon! Oops! But we made it to our end stage, Ancientbeatmon! This legendary warrior is said to have passed down his traits to all insect type digimon! I’m not sure about all that but he sure is pretty cool looking!

Also he’s a rad skateboarder B)

We bought that skateboard after we won some in-game tournaments :) He’s living large! His moveset is defensive based and he seems to do alright for himself thus far! Pretty excited to enter him into the official tournament on the 31st! Stats under the cut :D Have a great day!

But he’s evolved again since then to Bolgmon! :D

DVPet Tournament Mode: TigerVespamon

Hey y’all! We DID make it to TigerVespamon for the JUNE tournament (I misspoke last time!)

However with our stat lineup I don’t think we’ll be WINNING the tournament. But we’ll give them a run for their money maybe! I just ran out of time between work and moving to my new apartment! Which happened literally yesterday. It was a miracle we made it from Flymon to Cannonbeemon honestly! Here was our Evolution Path

DVPET: Tournament Mode: Flymon Hey y’all! Lots of problems going on but we’re okay! Basically my first kunemon didn’t work out, my second set of digimon I tried to raise didn’t work out... And now we have our third digimon for the tournament at Champion level with only 3 days left before we turn in our saves on the 29th! Yikes! But we’re doing okay! The goal is Cannonbeemon to Tigervespamon :) Here are our current stats under the cut :)

Bandai Japan Announces Digimon Pendulum Z!

Remember the new Digimon that got teased last month? Well now it’s official! The new virtual pet is based on the Pendulum, and there will be three shells, one is brown, green, and lastly blue.

It features the typical Digimon chain and lobster claw! Digimon Pendulum Z will feature three types of characters, Deep Savers, Nature Spirits, and Nightmare Soldiers! Deep Savers include Hookman, Siremon, and AncientMermaimon. Nature Spirits include Morphomon, Scopiomon, and Baihumon. Lastly, Nightmare Soldiers include Argomon, Megidramon, and Witchmon. More than 100 Digimon are included, even brand new Digimon!

Connecting the Digimon Pendulum Z’s will allow you to unlock characters of different types. Pendulum devices have a shake feature that counts the number of times the device is shaken which helps you train your Digimon, and this version is no different!

Bandai Japan currently has pre-orders listed on Premium Bandai and the MSRP of the devices are listed at ¥4,070. Pre-orders will close on July 31st, and the devices will start shipping in November, no specific date has been given at this time.

Hey y’all! I’m back! I’ve been pretty busy with learning how to keep bees and juggling work and home life. But I figured I could post about my Digimon for this month's June DVPet hatch and that might be fun! Right now I have a Kunemon!

---------------------- I won this Emerald shell (designed by @v-pet!) from the May digimon hatch where we all hatched Choromon and raised them with a big tournament at the end of the month! The final fight was between my Rafflesimon and someone else Banchomamemon, and I managed to get a win! So now the custom shell has my rafflesimon stamped in gold on the shell. And is available here to watch on twitch. ----------------------- Now Rafflesimon lives in retirement, mostly because she’s super old and I don’t want her to die!

Digimon DVPet: Generation 2

Well my Zeedmillenniummon finally got too old and passed away. I got the Digi Egg of Love first though! And also got a decent “Memory Chip” from her that will pass some of her stats to her rebirthed form, Muchomon! She went from Mokumon to DemiMeramon to Muchomon c: Her next stage will be an armor evolution ;)

Tamagotchi Meets & On App Halloween Event Begins!

Yesterday Bandai updated both the Tamagotchi Meets & On apps to include Halloween decorations and the highly anticipated Pumpkitchi! We knew what the decorated park would look like, and that we would marry Pumpkitchi, but there was one surprise Bandai saved!

What’s that? Well for everyday that you visit the park you will get a different present! From October 1st through November 1st visit the park and click on Pumpkitchi, everyday there will be a different present that Pumpkitchi will give you for you to take back to your Tamagotchi. Prizes include accessories and snacks, and some will be seasonally exclusive! Be sure to visit the app everyday to ensure you receive all the presents!
