Helo, always wondered, in case Mari and Ingo manage SOMEHOW to return to their time, does Ingo present Mari to Emmet, and in case he does, how does it go?
I mean, I've been curious if they would get along well or whatevs, have you thought of anything or maybe you have something written/drawn?
Now see, I do have the story more or less fully planned out at this point (there's wiggle room- there has to be for it to breathe)- but as far as directly answering your question re: "do they get back to their own time" I'll lean on an old classic and say: wait and see.
As far as fun HYPOTHETICALS go- I'd say IF they met, Mari and Emmet would likely get along fine! Though Emmet might be a bit distraught at first at having missed an important milestone in his brother's life lol
#The story is the story and i have a full roadmap#that doesn't mean that fun little 'what-if' scenarios can't be pondered#but i directly answering questions about major plot points isn't going to happen#the journey of seeing where a story goes as it happens is a thing to treasure#sorry i really hope this doesn't come off as dismissive#i just don't want to reveal too much too soon

hgjhg forgive me please for spamming your inbox but i was wondering how in hell you get your lines to look so damn perfect lmao, cleanest ima ever do is a sketchy-clean up fr. Ive been studying your style for a bit now and im just
baffled?? amazed?? what sorcery are you doing in order to get this jhgjh lol
No sorcery lol, just patience. I usually do anywhere from 3 to 6 different layers of sketchwork, refining the illustration to a point where I'm confident in inking.
THEN I go in with a teeny tiny brush, with very light brush strokes, on a very big canvas.
Then I duplicate the ink layer once to darken it
THEN I duplicate it AGAIN and add a 3 pt Gaussian Blur because I like the effect- feels like an animation cel to me.
And that's how I do lineart!
EDIT: Here's a quick example of what the messier sketch phases can look like. There's three layers there so far- a basic scribbly sketch (light blue), pose refinement for Ingo (red), and a more confident clean-up for Mari (darker blue). Characters get drawn on separate layers so I can more easily adjust their positions relative to each other- and Mari got to skip the pose refinement stage in this particular example because she mercifully came pretty easily to me in this shot lol. Ingo will probably get at least two more sketch layers before it's ready for inks though.
