Bob Marley once said:💞💞
"You may not be her first,
her last, or her only.
She loved before
she may love again.
But if she loves you now,
what else matters?
She's not perfect—you aren't either,
and the two of you may never be perfect together
but if she can make you laugh,
cause you to think twice,
and admit to being human and making mistakes,
hold onto her and give her the most you can.
She may not be thinking about you every second of the day,
but she will give you a part of her
that she knows you can break—her heart.
So don't hurt her,
don't change her,
don't analyze and
don't expect more than she can give.
Smile when she makes you happy,
let her know when she makes you mad,
and miss her when she's not there.
Love with your whole being when you receive love.
Because there are no perfect girls, but there will always be a girl who is perfect for you.." ❤ ❤

DID YOU KNOW?... In 1803, 75 IGBOS chose to drown in the Ocean over being sold into slavery.
According to history, The Igbo slaves were said to be a rebelli.ous breed.
They'll prefer to die free, than to be bond in chains.
They were stories of how they killed their masters and tried to escape.
So, in 1803, they were been transferred to another slave ship after their first master found out how rebellious they could be.
They were to be transported to a rice plantation which is renowned for brutal work and required strength.
But as the Igbos were crammed together under the deck, chained together,
The crew of the new slave ship got tired of them because they were too noisy.
They went in turns to force them to shut up.
But the Igbos wouldn't listen.
Soon, the crew discovered they were not just making a noise, rather they were chanting in unison.
The chant probably increased their morals and they were able to break loose from their chains.
They hijacked the ship.
At this juncture, one would think they intended to drive home,
But the smart Igbos knowing fully well that they are very far from home, decided to surrender their souls to the water spirit.
They all jumped into the water reciting the song;
" Orimiri Omambala bu anyi bia"
"Orimiri Omambala ka anyi ga ejina"
This translates to;
"The water spirit of Omambala brought us here, the water spirit of Omambala shall take us home"
Omambala is a river in Anambra.
Till date, there are claims that the souls of the revolted Igbo slaves still dwells in Dunbar Creek.
For in the quietness of the night, one could still hear their distant 'Orimiri' chants.

A British blacksmith removing the leg irons off a slave, 1907.
This photograph shows a sailor removing the manacle from a newly freed slave. The picture is part of a small collection donated by Samuel Chidwick to the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth. His father Able Seaman Joseph Chidwick, born in 1881, was serving aboard HMS Sphinx.
The Africans featured in the photos escaped in a canoe from a slave-trading village on the coast on hearing that the Royal Navy ship was in the area.
In his report dated 15th October 1907, Commander Litchfield wrote that the ship received ‘six fugitives’ on a cruise off the Batineh Coast, Oman between 10th and 14th October. One of the fugitives had been manacled for three years and had escaped with his leg irons still on.
Samuel Chidwick said: “The pictures were taken by my father who was serving aboard HMS Sphinx while on armed patrol off the Zanzibar and Mozambique coast in about 1907. They caught quite a few slavers and those particular slaves that are in the pictures happened while he was on watch. That night a dhow (sailing vessel) sailed by and the slaves were all chained together.
He raised the alarm and they got them onto the ship and got the chains knocked off them. They then questioned them and sent a party of marines ashore to try to track the slave traders down.
They caught two of them and I believe they were of Arabic origin. My father thought the slave trade was a despicable thing that was going on, the slaves were treated very badly so when they got the slavers they didn’t give them a very nice time”.
