There are many fantastic GIFsets of Errinwright on Tumblr,but I really miss GIFS from 2x10.

Cascade is one of my favourite episode of season 2 of the Expanse.

The story of Errinwright comes to a twist as he comes clean to Avasarala. The short scene where they talk is fantastic,not only because of the script,but because of the actor's performance too.

We see Errinwright at his most vulnerable moment. He lets his guard down, confesses his secret to Chrisjen,and feels gulity because of working with Mao. These mixture of feelings are all on his (handsome) face.

The moment,where he says (first,a bit hesitant) "because I was working with him". Chrisjen's silence,and Sadavir's soft little laugh as he realises that she knew about it..just brilliant!

I can watch it a hundred times!

The creators of the Expanse have done an excellent job, not only concerning the story (and the characters, special effects, music, so all of the series were perfect to me), but the costumes as well. I took a look at one of my favourite character's wardrobe change throughout S1-S3 - and analysed according to my perception.

Season 1

black: it is considered a negative color and usually symbolizes death, grief, or evil but also depression.

Season 1 had a different coloring, than the following seasons. It was darker, the colours were mainly grey, blue and black. We meet Errinwright, who seemes a powerful, but a mysterious man, former protégé of Chrisjen Avasarala. His colours were mainly black, and dark grey (except for one scene, where he wore blue). In contrast of Avasarala's colourful saris, his shirts and suits were plain, elegant and dark. Errinwright costumes suggested that he is a man of power, but there is something dark about him. We did not know much about his character, but we DID realise that Shawn Doyle portrays him perfectly.

Season 2

blue: It is the color of the ocean and the sky; it often symbolizes serenity, stability, inspiration, or wisdom.

Season 2 changed the colouring, and the series became brighter, with more vivid colours. This had an effect to the character of Errinwright too. He had more screentime (thankfully) and got more dephts, he became a three dimensional chatacter.

He wore steel blue and blue suits, which made his appearance more striking. He was no longer in the shadows, we even got to see his vulnerable side. Trhoughout season 2, we could not decide, whether he was on a good or a bad side (and frankly, we hoped he might choose the right path). And when he chose to kill, he was in his black suit again..Anyway, I am thankful to the costume department, that they reliased, blue fits Shawn better!

Season 3

Grey: Gray can be perceived as emotionally distant or disconnected, and it’s associated with morally questionable matters as well.

Errinwright chose to betray Avasarala, and start a war between Earth and Mars. Chrisjen, his previous moral compass was not around anymore. He wore more grey and dark suits again, which kinda represented that he was shceming again in the shadows, controlling (and despises) the secretary general. (Interestingly, in the railgun strike scene, he wore blue, but at that scene, he was shocked and angry because of the error the SG made).

Stephen Dorff appreciation post

I'm a big fan of the True Detective series, and I'm rewatching S3. As much as I loved Ali Mahershala's performance and character, for me, Roland was a much more interesting and multi-layered character. It's a shame that Nic Pizzolate didn't gave him more screentime!

Stephen Dorff's performance was so fantastic through the season! Roland's character really suited him, and it seemed, he enjoyed playing him. Roland is somewhat a typical harboiled detecive - which is somewhat my type :D - tough on the outside, but soft in the inside. And of course, I loved his dry sense of humour!

And his voice... I could listen to his voice all the time. Luckily, I found out, that he sings too! What a talent!

I absolutely adore The silence of the sea (2004) and Suite francaise (2014). Those movies broke my heart, but they are so sensitive, moving, beautiful love stories. And yes, also they have amazing main characters. I found some similarities between

Werner von Ebrennac

and Bruno van Folk

they both come from a military family

they had no other option, but to enlist

they condemn the brutalities of the Nazis

they are both composers and play the piano

they are sensitive

they are both handsome as hell

they both patriots

they both possibly had the same fate (dissapeared or killed)😭

Elendil FIC Teaser

We have to wait almost 2 years for Rings of Power S2😭 I decided to write an Elendil fic - to ease our pain. I have a special woman in mind (and in his life), who is not in the series ;) Also, Elendil needs some serious love, and healing.

I've never wrote a fic,only smaller parts,and English is not my native language. However,I try😇

Here is a teaser:

Hi, i was writing yesterday an answer to your post about making a playlist for Elendil and writing a fic about him, when i realized that you deleted it! So i just wanted to say i hope you're still writing this fic because i would totally read it! I've been searching for songs too for Elendil since yesterday and it's a big fail: i don't listen to music a lot, i rarely get attracted by lyrics, so nothing come to my mind right now but i'll keep thinking about it, in case you decide to keep this project on hold!
