I am OBSESSED with @yslbeauty 's new vinyl couture mascara! This new mascara comes in 9 amazingly pigmented colors. It's supposed to have a high gloss finish but I found it to have a soft matte finish. The packaging is to die for and so is the brush! It has a large brush that saturates your lashes with beautiful color without clumping. Am I the only one that smells my mascara 鈽猴笍 well I was surprised to find how yummy it smelled when I did. And that's because it's infused with notes of mandarin, jasmine, and vanilla for a subtle scent. It's so light but amazing! But what I love most about this mascara is the blend oils added. In it you will find Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Ricinus Communis Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil and Safflower Seed Oil! This blend of oils are sure to help lengthen your lashes with regular use! I've currently in love with the blue, green and gold! But I can't wait to get me hands on the other 6 colors... They are in the top of my list of things to grab during my next trip to Sephora! I've created gorgeous looks using these mascaras. Keep a look out for them! #mascara #makeup #ysl #coloredmascara #bluemascara #greenmascara #goldmascara #blogger #beautyblogger #beauty #atlantamua #atlblogger #atlantablogger #atlmua #atlmakeupartist #sephora

Almost forgot it was mask Monday and what a great way to end the day. I love the Ole Henriksen Power Peel because it鈥檚 basically an at home microdermabrasion! This professional strength AHA peel helps resurface skin texture and brightens! And the fact that I struggle with hormonal acne as well as scarring I could use a little bit of both in my life. I would not recommend this product if you have sensitive skin because it is quite strong. But if not make sure you pop into a Sephora and grab yourself a pack! The entire process takes just under 30 minutes and will have your skin feeling smooth and looking bright! @ole_henriksen Power Peel is a must try! #sephora #olehenriksen #mask #maskmonday #peel #microdermabrasion #ahapeel #brighten #blogger #atlblogger #atlbloggers #sephoragirl #mask

Clinique has been giving me life lately! Over the last few weeks I鈥檝e been incorporating some of their products into my skincare rituals. And it didn鈥檛 take me long to realize that these two products here where major key! They are like a drink of water for your face. My skin is all over the place; I suffer from eczema, psoriasis and hormonal acne all while having an extremely oily t-zone! The clique pep start hydro blur moisturizer helped keep my skin very well hydrated while immediately improving the look of texture in my skin. I was surprised to find that it also helped with oil control. It鈥檚 a great moisturizer to use on all skin types and works well under makeup. My foundation wore all day with no separation! And did I mention how smooth the appearance of my skin was? Now the Clinique pep start eye cream i鈥檝e been using a little longer. I鈥檓 actually on my second tube! When it comes to the use of skin care and using a great eye cream you鈥檙e preaching to the choir. I tell my clients all the time how important eye creams are all the while I wasn鈥檛 even using one. When I started using the Clinique pep start eye cream I was immediately addicted! The applicator made it fun and easy and all the benefits it gives were just added bonus. This eyebcream immediately hydrates and brightens. My concealer never looked so good since I started using it as a prep step! And what I really love about this eye cream is the fact that it can go over make up to help as a refresher during the day. And it doesn鈥檛 ruin your make up that鈥檚 unheard of! You got a run into your local Sephora and try these babies out yourself! #clinique #pepstart #eyecream #hyroblur #moisturizer #sephora

How to properly clean your makeup brushes
Whether you鈥檙e someone who only wears makeup on occasion or someone who wears it every day, keeping your makeup brushes clean is a necessity. Not only do brushes get caked up and stiff if they aren鈥檛 properly maintained, but they also harbor a ton of bacteria which leads to breakouts and irritation. Although cleaning them seems like a pretty basic step, most women overlook keeping their makeup brushes maintained properly. If you鈥檙e someone who has no idea where to start, then here are a few steps on how to properly clean your makeup brushes. If you鈥檙e not someone who鈥檚 interested in DIY concoctions, then you can opt to buy professional makeup brush cleanser. You can find them at all major beauty retailers such as Sally鈥檚 Beauty Supply, Ulta and Sephora, and even at department stores like Target and Walmart. Makeup brush cleanser usually runs about $6-30 depending on the brand, but you can remain certain that the brushes will be clean without risking the chance of the bristles loosening up on you. Since most brush cleansers come in a spray bottle, all you have to do is spray the brush enough so that it is soaked, rub the bristles back and forth on a clean paper towel until there鈥檚 no makeup left, and lay it down to dry. You may need to rewet the brush if there鈥檚 a lot of makeup caked on to it, but the initial application is usually enough. Most brush cleansers dry very fast, which is a plus since the water won鈥檛 have the chance to loosen up the glue and cause the bristles to start shedding. This option is also great to use every day after you鈥檝e applied your makeup to ensure that your brushes remain clean throughout the week. Making your own brush cleanser is very easy and can save you a lot of money. What you鈥檒l need is: A shallow bowl Baby shampoo/ Gentle cleanser Warm Water Clean Paper Towels/ Towels Put about a tablespoon of cleanser and warm water into a bowl. Then, swirl each brush around in the bowl to ensure that the makeup begins to lift off of the bristles and allow them to soak for about 10 seconds. Rub the bristles on a clean piece of paper towel until no makeup is seen. Re-dip the brushes if it isn鈥檛 quite as clean as it needs to be. After that, rinse each brush under cold running water in order to seal the hairs, blot dry with a paper towel, reshape the bristles with your fingers (if needed) and lay them flat to dry. Another drying method is to lay the bristles diagonally so that the bristles are pointed down, but not resting on the bristles. This will allow the water to drip out of the brush instead of settling in the base of the bristles. So, there you have it! Two easy ways to properly cleanse your makeup brushes. Now, in order to keep your brushes in their best condition you will want to cleanse them at least once a week, especially if you apply makeup every day. Also, making sure that the brushes aren鈥檛 drying in an upright position (bristles pointed to the ceiling) will ensure that the glue that holds the bristles together doesn鈥檛 loosen up and cause the hairs to shed.
