Alys works at a tattoo parlor like the one in my hometown that also sells crystals and does tarot readings.

Aemond comes in for a tattoo consultation. He's torn between wanting a big dragon tattoo on his chest and looking like a scary edge-lord, and not wanting to upset his straightlace mama.

Maybe they're set up by someone? Like another employee says, "Let me go get Alys, I think she'd be a good fit for what you're describing, I think you'll vibe with her artistically." They have the consultation. Alys influences Aemond to go ahead and do it.

I think Alys not being a major thing forshadowed in the trailer might be good, actually.

While I'm as impatient as anyone else, I think that — from a storytelling perspective — the best thing for Alys is to be introduced gradually. Give her space to breathe. Take time for us to get to know her before things ramp up with Aemond. Ships are always stronger when both parties are well-established characters in their own right.

Alys having a smaller role in season 2, and then a larger one in season 3, seems like it would lead to better storytelling. Even if it taxes our patience.

Where does the idea that Aemond is slutty come from? Is it just that fans are sluts for Aemond, and this somehow got flipped inside out into Aemond being a slut for them? I'm sorry Aemondwives, but I see nothing in canon that would support the notion of slutty Aemond.
