There have also been countless cases of men taking secret videos/photos, or videos/photos that their sex partners believed would remain private, and uploading them without consent, sometimes even posing as the woman online.

There's genuinely no way of knowing if the women (and men in gay porn, especially the younger ones) were there willingly, whether they experienced abuses that forced them into it, etc.

Sasha Grey is a former globally famous "pornstar" who was known for being in violent and extreme porn, who always claimed publicly that she loved it and was doing it to explore her own sexuality. I remember men using her as "proof" that there's nothing wrong with porn because the women in the industry are there happily and willingly. However, when she exited the industry, she revealed that she'd had an abusive boyfriend who'd forced her into it, who'd made her do continually more extreme porn because it meant more money. He was effectively a pimp. Even now that information is out there, men comment vile things on everything she says and does and will never let her forget what happened to her so long as she has a public persona.

If a woman in the porn industry so much as implies that she was abused or is unhappy, she can be blacklisted, and once you've been in the porn industry, finding other employment is extremely difficult. I recall a news story about a woman who started an Onlyfans account during the pandemic (iirc she barely made any money), and once she was able to apply for other jobs, was turned down from TACO BELL of all places, with them citing her Onlyfans as the reason.

I unfortunately don't have much in the way of advice on quitting for someone who is struggling with repeated relapses, but I know there are women on radblr that have overcome porn addiction or are still struggling with it. There's community for you here, if you do choose to make a blog.

Also, on the topic of drag queens - they prance around dressed as women, but the money they earn from it doesn’t actually benefit they women they imitate in any way. Look at the famous drag queens - who do they employ as assistants? Men. Who do they buy their costumes from? Men. Who do they hire as backing dancers? Men. Violet Chachki created a digital show over lockdown with credits a minute long and there wasn’t a single woman involved. He didn’t hire a female choreographer or a female camera person or even a female coffee-getter.

They’re men, they’re male oriented, and they have male class consciousness.
