I look of into the distance and shed a single tear for Jamie...
some of you never had to see your favorite character being ruined by bad and inconsistent writing and it shows

a song of ice and fire doesn’t translate well to screen because you miss the joy of seeing cersei spend an entire chapter thinking about how smart she is before making the stupidest decisions possible

Forever sad over the injustice of Jamie Lannister’s character.

It is very obvious by now that this generation still isn’t ready for more characters in literature/movies/tv like Sansa Stark: traditionally feminine but never sexualized and without traditionally masculine traits like being physically strong or knowing how to fight; actually speaking her mind and being cold when it is necessary; not owing something to men and being an actual benevolent and caring leader; never entitled and using actual reasons to prove anyone otherwise.

One of the reasons why Sansa’s coronation means so much to me is because she’s always been so feminine. Since season 1, she was framed as the girly girl, in direct contrast to her tomboy sister Arya, or her protector Brienne. While Arya was learning how to fight, Sansa was sewing and dreaming about marrying a prince.
I feel like most shows, even those with strong female characters, tend to look down on feminine traits and promote the women who are ‘one of the guys’ - they don’t care about their looks, or aren’t emotional, or constantly shit on other women who they think are too ‘girly’ to be strong. There’s this popular trope of feminine women who suddenly realize that they have some important responsibility now, and their entire demeanour changes because they have to be a man now, they don’t have time for silly stuff like emotions and dresses and ‘girl drama’.
GoT really took all that and said screw you, Sansa is a woman and she’s not going to be ashamed of it. That Stark montage in the final moments of the finale - while Arya and Jon pack up their weapons, Sansa gets dressed for her coronation - again, the contrast really hits you. It implies that Sansa’s strength is no less than Arya’s or Jon’s, that they each have their own role to play. After season 1, she’s never again framed as silly or shallow - she’s the Queen in the North, and she can damn well deliver a look while she does it.

im taking a “what game of thrones lady are you” quiz and one of the questions is what game of thrones man would i date (the heterosexuality of it all..) and two of the choices are, and i quote, “bad jaime” and “nice jaime”

I know this is so unpopular but i love Bran. That creepy little dude cracks me up. And what an icoN, showing up late to the party with starbucks and is made King of the Six realms with absolutely zero work on his part.
My god. An icon.

Sansa becoming the Queen of the North is the best thing to come out of that episode.

This is my favorite theory so far! 🤡😂
Maybe Jamie is rock-proof in the same way that Dany is fire-proof and in the season finale we’ll see him emerge from the castle ruins with three geodudes?
I’d like to see it

I would actually be okay with that XD
Remember how we laughed at the “It was all a dream” theory?
I don’t know about you but after S8E5 I’d be very much ok with that.
