Land of Hiatus: Two Weeks update 4/24/24

Land of Hiatus: Two Weeks reaches another milestone! Enemies have audio cues and mania is easier to build. The gray is what I still have to work on. Once the textures are done, I'll make levels.

Azari is pictured here beside one of our colleagues who, after standing beside them who is 8 feet tall, is now self-conscious about his height. Both were instructed to face the wall. As Miss Adder suspected, it appears that Azari visibly faces everyone's point of view, regardless of the direction they're actually facing. Additionally, the external heart at their chest becomes discolored.

Working on the UI text right now for the game that I've decided will be called Land of Hiatus: Two Weeks. Is this good or is it too disorienting?

I'm now at a point where I can show my progress so far on the Doom TC I'm working on. So far it's only the weapons and most of the HUD, but I'm happy with the progress I've made so far.

I finally made a ref sheet for my sona. I always loved the concept of an artist having a sona that's either crudely-drawn or simplistic, so I put my own spin on it.

Bruh there are already AI bots using my art to talk about AI learning. They credited me at least, but it was an animation where I split a brain in half and cooked the egg inside with a pan. How does that convey learning?

Thanks! What got me into art in the first place is a surreal claymation artist named Mason Lindroth. He's made several games, including the Hylics series. I find his art comforting in a way I can't quite describe, but it's like the kind of fascination you feel with something that rides the line between ominous and whimsical.
