Does anyone know or what do we think about using reincarnate on an automaton/aeormaton? Fearne is a lvl9 Druid (at least lol) which means she has access to reincarnate, you don’t need the whole body, and you have 10 days to cast it.

While I think this ending is a decent one for FCG, and wouldn’t be too sad if it really is their legit end, it also would be kinda nice for them to know 100% that they have a soul, they matter and are worth the effort to their friends, they’re a person, and their whole existence isn’t just meant to be one of servitude and sacrifice for other people.

Plus like, the way they worked so hard to bring Laudna back, in theory this could be a lot easier depending on how Matt approaches it, so I’m torn between ‘let their sacrifice mean something and leave them be, not every character needs to be resurrected’ and ‘does that mean Laudna is more important than FCG?’ Like at least FCG doesn’t come with an undead evil entity attached to their soul lmao

Women who marry into or out of the royal family keep their original surnames. Despite being married to Lord Corlys Velaryon, she is forever known as Princess Rhaenys Targaryen and I know imdb fucked that up early on, but the show gets it right, and the official HotD HBO site also has her listed as Princess Rhaenys Targaryen, even the subtitles in the trailers refer to her as Rhaenys Targaryen. That's how royal names and titles work.

Okay but this whole ‘Aegon had a prophetic dream and it’s too secret and has been passed down from king to heir since the time of Aegon the Conqueror’ thing is bullshit. It literally would not have survived past Aegon’s eldest grandson. Maegor crowned himself king and killed his brother’s eldest two sons, and then died mysteriously, leaving Jaehaerys to inherit as a young teenager. If this secret was truly only passed from king to heir, Aegon possibly would’ve told his younger brother Viserys, who Maegor also killed, but even that is unlikely since the two were never reunited after their father’s death. Certainly neither of them passed this on to Maegor so he never would have known, Jaehaerys never would have known, and then Viserys never would have known to be passing it on to Rhaenyra. Nice try tho, to pretend like the Targaryens conquered Westeros for any reason other than blind greed and ambition and because no one could stop them.

Oh my gosh. I just found this website that walks you though creating a believable society. It breaks each facet down into individual questions and makes it so simple! It seems really helpful for worldbuilding!
