I'm going to get straight to the point & ask you this, how does the stydia breakup in the movie make you feel?
I didn’t watch it…Tbh I never had plans to. It was never gonna be the story I wanted so I was happy to leave everything behind when the series officially ended (tho I’d stopped watching episodes even before that).
I don’t come to tumblr often so I didn’t even know it had released until I saw this question.
So I have no context to how or why they broke up. But just hearing they broke up doesn’t make me feel anything. Stydia is a pair I felt should’ve never been together not because I hate them but because it makes a trophy out of Lydia and she deserved so much more and it was the most boring route to take Stiles character. Plus I’m Sterek through and through so it was never gonna be them with anyone else for me. But I also knew we weren’t gonna get Sterek def not in the capacity of what they could’ve been so whatever the writer wanted to do beyond that was whatever to me. You could’ve told me they put Stiles with Scott and I would’ve just sighed and kept it moving because when I left the series behind I left canon behind. The fandom and the stories they created became more than the series (for me).
Dylan wasn’t supposed to be in the film - idk if that changed - but I assume that’s the reason for the breakup in the film? If so that’s kind of weak. Hell that kind of excuse only works if the film had them working their way back together. They def could’ve came with something better and more character aligning but 🙃 this is Teen Wolf we’re talking about so rupturing characterization and giving weak arc threads & loose ends would be nothing new. They never care about Stydia and that’s always been a fact so hearing they screwed over their arc once again doesn’t really come as a surprise 🤷🏾♀️
Anyway…I hope Stydia fans are doing well. I would be very upset if I came to the movie hoping to finally get what they had robbed me of in the actual series only to get a breakup….However, I do believe I warned them once so I hope they went in with their guard up considering how things went for Sterek fans and hell for themselves the first time around when their ship just got thrown together as a consolation rather than actually be given a real arc. If I remember correctly some of them were kind of nasty when they felt they’d won out over Sterek fans 😪 As if this show had ever given them anything worth gloating over. May they never give the writer another chance to screw them over and if they didn’t enjoy what they received in the film, hopefully whatever they’re enjoying now is better than what they were give before.
The writers are terrible & trifling - that’s my one consistent thought. Here’s to hoping they never ruin things for another audience - and that Teen Wolf stays at rest as it should have when the series ended.

Killing Black off would’ve been the worst decision Not Me could’ve made…
I'm starting to wonder if maybe Not Me would've benefitted from one of the twins dying.
Like I loved the happy ending and its overall "Love Wins" messaging, but after watching the emotional impact and revenge plots of the brothers in Playboyy and Dead Friend Forever, I feel like Gun was robbed of the opportunity to go H.A.M. and break down.
He would've killed it.

Zouey’s kinda the worst friend of all…
He apparently snitched out his friend who wanted to expose his rap-st to his rap-st. Had his friend kidnapped so he couldn’t reveal the truth instead of just telling him not to do it…Then stayed quite and lied when the cops came looking for him.
Then when his friend’s brother comes looking for him he plays along and tries to derail that investigation where he can. He then tries to get his friend out and send him away (making sure he insist his friend does not stop to see his family first). He watches as his supposed new friend (Nont) has multiple breakdowns over his missing brother & the person he’s becoming in the wake of his disappearance. Instead of being honest or atleast allowing his brother to confirm he’s still alive instead he plays the righteous one and shames Nont for the measures he’s willing to go for his brother after he’s murdered…
Zouey’s choices seems to have possibly led to not one but two kidnappings and for sure plays a big part in the death of Nant.
So much for that “you’re the only one helping me with no benefit to yourself…” line. All I can see is him righteously preaching to others while knowing he’d caused the death of his supposed best friend.
I’ve always hated that the show tried to push Zouey and Nont as being close - I hate it even more so now. Towards the end I started wishing that Nont had bonded with Porsche and they’d been hype sisters or something. A Nont, Prom, Porsche family walk in would be hot 😂 a Pyro and his two Shooters.
Instead he bonded with Zouey because of that text of Nant saying Zouey always treated him the best only to find that Zouey treated him the worst…

Like he’s observant as a mf. He’s always at playboy - even when he was heartbroken he was still at work. He has access to the VIP room - he had a whole key & Jason was out of town. Aob may have been the 2nd in command for Jason but Prom runs Playboyy.
And how Zouey get in there without Prom knowing?
And Jason and Zouey interactions make even less sense now…
all i will say is...i refuse to believe nant was trapped at playboyy and prom did not know about it. prom is the most knowledgeable bitch in the narrative. be serious.

Just done a sprint through Playboyy watching all the Captain and Keen scenes because I'm a Captain and Keen Girlie!
And OMG!!! All those scenes are completely different now.
Because of the last couple of eps we know what Keen is really made of. You can actually see he's been stalking and manipulating Captain from the very beginning but he's just subtle as fuck!
All those times I was like 'oh no Keen stand up for yourself, don't let Captain walk all over you' I was so wrong.
How did I not see it from all those times he sculked around in the dark! He just seemed shy and awkward but he's not!!! He was gathering intel and planning.
Sure he didn't see Captains shitty little criminal video empire coming and he got burned there for a minute. But then he's used it to manipulate Captain right into where he's been trying to get him from the very start.
Jesus I'm pulling my hair out here.

PromNont parallelism Ep 6 - 12
Different angles, lights and colors, but same kiss "interrupted" with different energies
In EP 6 we have Nont who continues investigating Nant's death by chasing the doggo man (completely useless and that leads to nothing). Here he opens up about how all this scares him, that sometimes he doesn't want to know anything more. He doesn't want to change (just as he feels that Nant has changed). When the kiss is interrupted he does not even look at Prom. He remains convinced that he is a predator and Prom is his prey whom he will be able to discard when he stops being useful to him. He doesn't recognize that he may have feelings for him.
In EP12 he is now chasing the real bad guy and has to run away with Prom to be safe. There's something about the way he looks at him after the kiss: Fragility and love perhaps? If Nont thought that he could abandon Prom and forget about him in previous episodes, I think that is no longer possible. Nont was afraid to change and now he has changed. He wanted to leave and return to his old life, but the reality is that is not going to be easy (It is impossible in my opinion), not only because of all the trauma, but also because he himself is a different person.
I hope this makes some sense, in my head it does?

nont doesn’t really have a reason to go back to the US at this point, tbh. his friends are in thailand, his dad is in thailand, his boyfriend is in thailand, what he has left of his brother is in thailand. maybe i’m delulu and hopelessly hopeful for my boys but i can’t see nont going back to the USA and leaving all of that behind to return to nothing, especially with how much his life has changed now. promnont endgame manifestation has begun✨

Porsche was on one this whole episode. He def got my fav vote this week because it was the first time I got to really see him be the cunty bish he’s always had potential to be. Not just with the fake murder or his boyfriend but with putting on for Jason and the assist with the henchman because as much as the PromNont theatrics bothered me his walk up with the kill shot was very fun.
I know Nont is always threatening retribution through murder but personally I think Porsche should be the one to kill Jason (imo Jason has to die).
Guys, hands down, I want to pay homage to whoever was responsible for writing Porsche's character in this episode for their genius!
Finally! A badass bitch!
It's so simple in theory, but so brilliant. Porsche is one of the few who knows what Jason Lee is really like, how creepy he can be, how gruesome and merciless.
There's no way he hasn't watched people get shot and beaten up. I mean, when there was still Aob, Jason killed in front of him too.
And now to see Porsche take out the henchman, BRAVO!
Perfect, insanely good character direction and perfect utilization of the given resources through his background!
My opinion:
Let Porsche have an untraceable weapon. He deserves it.
And as an extra, Jason in a remote corner and a first-class escape route.
