Headcanon:

As the Starclimber crew is flying back to Lionsgate City, Kate surprises Matt by sneaking into his room in the middle of the night to "show him that she loves him" (Kate is more actions than words anyways). Miss Karr somehow notices but she just gives them a little knowing smile the next morning and doesn't say anything.
