OH MY GOD???? DADVID??????? DADVID IS REEEEAAALLL AND I WILL KEEP SAYING IT THE WAY HE TALKED TO MAX AND THE WAY MAX WAS ABSOLUTELY UPSET ABOUT LEAVING CAMP AND DAVID. they care for each other so bad it shows now, especially with max’s point of view it’s so sad and cute at the same time.

“I just wanna make sure everyone’s safe.”

“Same. And that includes you, too.”

“What?”

“Yeah. Gonna make sure you’re safe too, Hunter. You’re family now.”

 My Hunter Noceda headcanons

Hunter was raised by Darius when he was younger. Belos most likely didn't want to/feel like taking care of him once he realized Hunter was younger than all his other grimwalkers, so Darius offered to take care of Hunter so he didn't end up neglected as a child.

As a trans man, I headcanon Hunter to be FtM. I can imagine Hunter being confused about it and running to someone he trusts to talk about it (most likely Darius), and that's how he meets Raine. Raine would definitely help Hunter figure it out.

After Hunter gets possessed by Belos, Hunter definitely feels guilty for Flapjacks death, even though it wasn't his fault. I feel like for him to know that it even was his hands that killed Flap, that's enough to convince him that he was the one who killed Flapjack. Luz or Camila probably comforts Hunter when he freaks out about it, saying it wasn't his fault and giving him the whole talk that Belos is a bad man with horrible intention, something along the lines of that.

Hunter enjoys being a big brother to Luz, Willow, Gus, and Vee. Since he never had real family other than Darius back in the Demon Realm, and it's established throughout the first episode that he feels more comfortable with who he is in the Human Realm, he enjoys taking care of everyone.

Hunter's probably a momma's boy. Despite his personality, he always has a soft spot for Camila.

If Hunter ended up staying in the Demon Realm when s3 ends, it'd be cool for Darius to officially take him in... just them having a good relationship in the show and Hunter having nowhere to go since he doesn't like being established as the Golden Guard, it'd be a cute moment for the both of them.

of course! It had been a bad day for Max at camp, and it wasn't his normal terrible day, it was one of the worst. As the boy stormed around unhappily, David took quick notice. "Hey, kiddo. You okay?" He asked Max, leaning down to his height level as he watched the kid pace around. "I'm fine. Fuck off." Max spoke as he looked over to David with a glare. "Language, Max." The man spoke, getting up and picking him up, giving him a look. "What happened?" He asked, his voice gentle. "Fuckin' Nikki was being rude." Max gave David a grim look as he hopped out of his arms. "Doesn't matter, anyway." He added, kicking a pebble. David thought for a hot second, getting an idea. "Hey, now. Why don't we go for a drive, get some ice cream?" He bargained, looking at the child. Max thought long and hard before sighing, then nodding. "Fine." He agreed, looking up at David. "Good, let's go." David said, pulling out his car keys.
