With Art fight starting soon I'm posting some more OCs that I have stashed in my secret folder. This guy was made especially for Uprising and is to this day the greatest asshole on my entire roster. Admiral Hertz is probably the most heartless glitch on the entire grid.

He's also blind in one eye thanks to a stray disc but psst, he doesn't want anyone to know about that.

Rewatching Uprising again and the level of detail in there is still amazing.

Like, has anyone else noticed that the sentries use system error codes very similar to the ones Microsoft uses? You can even look them up and see what they mean.

Ex: EP 14 "Tagged" - in the opening scene a sentry can be heard saying "Violation: error code 113" which matches with: 113 (0x71) - No more internal file identifiers available.

That said error code 7 (0x7) is still my absolute favorite to this day. Not that I'd want to deal with it but "error_arena_trashed" sounds like something Beck would totally do in his free time and when Tron's not looking.

I'm curious about how stuff like that translates into the digital world. Like, am I imagining Tron sitting at his desk filling out forms to send errors like we do paperwork? Is it some internal thing? How does it work??

I have a theory that since Programs regularly drink energy that Tron’s healing chamber in Uprising could go mobile if he wore one of those guzzler helmets you can get at sports games

Okay, I know 2.0 is a thing and all and I dig that, but they did him dirty. Disney has a huge missed opportunity with the whole IP but c'mon how cool would it have been to see Alan meet Tron at least once? Tho I have this headcanon going where it's Alan who watches all the archived data in Uprising after he sat Sam down, got his explanation and then decided to be the responsible adult again and look where things went wrong to fix them yadda yadda yadda.

And of course that glorious coat 'o trench. Put one on Tron, dude needs a hug and a blanket after the nightmare he's been through.

Clu, meet my halftone brushes. I'm happy with him. There's room for improvement sure but for a quick practice doodle this turned out great.

There had been little resistance when Tron decided enough had been enough. Flynn would no listen to his concerns about the ISO, Clu dismissed his warnings as paranoia and Dyson slowly drove a wedge between his team and himself. It had looked hopeless, so Tron prayed. Cycle after cycle he prayed to Alan-One to listen and help him, guide him. Yet, Alan-One never replied. Tron was left alone, frustrated, and lost.

That was until he figured out it had been Flynn who severed his bond with his beloved Alan-One. Flynn... kidnapped him! Stole him! Ripped him away from his User and his beloved Yori! That, Tron would not forgive. Betrayed by his once-friend, Tron ignored every order given by both Flynn and Clu. The only one he would listen to was his beloved Alan-One, and it wasn't like he had been there to stop him. Indeed, nothing could stand in Tron's way as he took over the system to make it safe again. The ISO were overtaxing the system, Flynn was a hazard to have around, Clu thought a rebellion would stand a chance. How droll.

Eventually, his team decided to turn on him completely. Flynn vanished into the grid, Clu was derezzed on the spot. Unfortunately, Dyson survived. That would not do. No, Tron needed someone capable, someone - something - new to take down threats he could not. Thus, he found his second in command in a small port town called; Argon. Young Beck was just what he had needed... although Tron could do without the sass sometimes. Still, he would not change Beck, even though he certainly could.

After a long and tedious mission to ISO-proof everything and make sure no more threats would emerge, the mentor-student duo finally reached Beck's home town. With it, their job would be done. Tron was relieved it was over. Beck? The young mechanic-turned-monitor was just glad to be home, and could not wait to show his mentor around.

Then, they met the Renegade.
