Hey prob gonna stop the liveblog here, as in general, I have not been feeling up to it for the past few months both mentally and physically, not in the greatest space right now and dont think I will be for a while, and I think I want to continue reading homestuck on my own. Not that I am disinterested, like it really seems interesting but its hard to keep a liveblog active and schedule myself as such when Im just kinda messy in general. I’ll be sorta liveblogging hs on my server to my friends there because at least they can get a gist of what I think and my process and reactions. But yeah, Ill leave the blog up but wont be continuing it. Sorry all, been fun while it lasted! Peace homies kiss kiss mwah

Update (3)

Speaking of Discord, here’s some things that were discussed recently that may or may impact future liveblogs with the information I now hold:

- Lord English is a beefcake and the fact that all of you hid him from me is crime in itself

- Dirk has a very very nice sprite for that game where you can date the characters

- Everyone found out I was a gemini which led to everyone telling me my troll was sollux, which then led to me completing a test, which then led to my results being prospit and prince of doom. I feel thats information that should be shared here because after the amounts of text I got from Discord concerning the personalities and relatability of all the claspects, I feel homestucks like knowing this stuff. Literally, its DnD. Anyways apparently now I’m chaotic, borderline narcissistic and kill death with death or whatever that means, honestly I still dont really know what any of that means, but that sounds cool asf anyways. Also my friend made me a sprite. Forever grateful.

- Theyre all telling me Im strider kin, I have no idea what to do with this information

- They showed me Karkalicious

- And Davekat but thats only because we have a davekat crew on there who never shut up (dw youre all doing great, I love the copious amounts of fanart the art channel gets sometimes)

- Apparently me saying Bro was hot constantly without knowing what he did during the abuse caused others to ask me if I really wanted to know, which I then said yes, now I know Bro is the most bastard but hes also still hot

- Im on a mission to capture Dirk Strider in the character spawn claiming game we have. This is irrelevant to everything, but I am determined and desperate. Ive already collected so many men, might as well add Homestuck to the list

Homestuck Day 13 ------ part 3

Yeah, get with the FUCKING program

Rose: My mother HATES me

The mom in question: Puts a gift her daughter got her on a plaque and bronzes it because it means a lot to her and she doesnt want it to lose its value

Rose: Like I just dont get WHY-

Yes. Im sure shes turning it on and off downstairs as you try and sleep to spite you, Rose, not because she may be lonely in a large house so the comfort of the gift you got her reminds her she’s not alone or some angsty shit like that

Arent you a mighty fine specimen?

Im finding a pattern here with the kids

Every kid who has a kinda nice decent parent (flaws yes but still not as bad as abuse), ie Rose and John, has been saying they hate their parent, and their parent hates them

But the kid with the ACTUAL bad abusive guardian, has been saying his brother is just SO COOL and the best person ever

Thats sad. Honestly.

Im pretty sure your mother just enjoys the fact that you used your gift. Not that it has been “sabotaged”. When my sister used to have dolls, she would normally style them up with these crazy hairdos she cut herself, and drew on the faces with markers in place of makeup. Yet, our mother was always happy with the fact that she just appreciated the gift no matter if she maimed the doll itself. Since my sister creating joy with the gift was more important than the money spent on it.

But anyways, who am I to talk

Shes had FOUR BOTTLES????

While I am gaping about the fact she had 15k to spend on a frame for her daughter yet somehow can’t and can only state how sweet that is

Rose either called her mother a rodent, or an aggressively assertive woman and jesus... imagine hearing that from your kid who you had put up a 15k framed painting they did for you on the fridge

While I dont like the alcoholism, the mom must be so patient to just see the word “shrew” on her fridge directed towards her and rather than call Rose on it, went “she must be out of w’s”

Sometimes you gotta remember theyre 13 and let them enjoy the small parts of life

Im glad we’re seeing this side of Rose honestly, brings more to her character than the “strict professional friend”

Rose would be an incredible villain if she ever decided to be one

It is the oblivious woman who has no idea she’s mid-war with her own daughter

Sometimes when youre a single mother, these things are just comforting

Not like I would know what being a mother would be like

Let alone a woman
