obviously the rectification of names is never gonna happen but i really wish people called it "ai image generation" instead of "ai art" just because like. regardless of the "is it art" question "image generation" describes it much more clearly? like. its not really FOR the purpose that art is generally for? its for generating images. this is very cool, and somewhat useful. you can do fun stuff with it. it cannot replace human artists for most purposes yet, because yknow. its image generation.
