Zoro and Nami? Only cause their inherent personality traits compliment each other. Nami's navigation mixed with Zoro's horrid sense of direction. And Zoro's superior strength to her (sorta) weak dynamic.
Give me a ship and I’ll say if I ship it or not

The new smartphone update causes all smartphones to go haywire and stop working. You are one of the few who's phone doesn't stop working strictly because you procrastinated the update for weeks

Okay, so
You know how it's pretty much known that artists, specifically painters, are see and stereotyped to have messy art areas and paint on everything in that space because that's just how it be. Well I am all for those painters and other artists who value and clean and clear space to work in with minimal mess. I don't know how they do it but to the who are able to keep a clean art space I applaud you.

pick-me-ups for writers
for the self-conscious beginner: No one makes great things until the world intimately knows their mediocrity. Don’t think of your writing as terrible; think of it as preparing to contribute something great.
for the self-conscious late bloomer: Look at old writing as how far you’ve come. You can’t get to where you are today without covering all that past ground. For that, be proud.
for the perfectionist: Think about how much you complain about things you love—the mistakes and retcons in all your favorite series—and how you still love them anyway. Give yourself that same space.
for the realist: There will be people who hate your story even if it’s considered a classic. But there will be people who love your story, even if it is strange and unpopular.
for the fanfic writer: Your work isn’t lesser for not following canon. When you write, you’ve created a new work on its own. It can be, but does not have to be, limited by the source material. Canon is not the end-all, be-all.
for the writer’s blocked: It doesn’t need to be perfect. Sometimes you have to move on and commit a few writing sins if it means you can create better things out of it.
for the lost: You started writing for a reason; remember that reason. It’s ok to move on. You are more than your writing. It will be here if you want to come back.

The only time I ever apologized to my brother and meant it was when he was being a dick so I was being a dick back and I insulted him on not being able to keep a girl (cause at the time his only actual girlfriend had died in a house fire)

I need help.
If you saw from my rant post, you'll know that I am in the process of planning from scratch a fantasy world. I have a general idea of where I want my story to start at. And the main characters in the story. I just need identities for these characters. I have the unfinished notes for the main four different races of species that are going to be mentioned in said story and each of which a mc is going to arise.
Most I just need help making the concept character as in their name, race, personality, goal, etc. I have (yet another) general idea of four different backstories I have yet to actual write down. If you want to know more about it please send me a message and I'll try and explain what my personal goal is along with what I already have so you can help me

The worst thing about living in some little hoedown, redneck town is that there is literally no chance for you to just have a small encounter with someone from the internet you look up to and are a fan of. There is no chance that while you're at work a celebrity or popular content creator will just waltz in and order some chicken (I work at an independently owned fast food place).
I like to think that one of my good friends (a somewhat successful youtuber with 13,000+ subscribers) will someday become extremely popular and live out his dream and still live in a small town so one day a kid fan of his has a chance to meet him and tell him how they aspire to be like him or that they truly love his work.
Also those people who think they've no future then go on to do something grand and become famous and have their work know across a nation or even further have my respect in the since that even if they believed what they did had no meaning it affected the people around them and their hearts
I'll be honest I wish to become a creator of my own, I wish to write books, create art, help others, and do so much for the community, I want to be able to make any sort of sweet for my siblings when they have a birthday, or are feeling down, or even just if they ask.
There is no point of any post I make on this website, except to rant. Or maybe to talk about how I feel. I changed my original rant about small towns to my dreams for the future.

A public rant, if you will
Let me give some backstory. I am currently 17 and I still have absolutely no idea of what I want to do with my life, although I do enjoy being creative and having skills in many fields such as writing, drawing, crafting, and so on.
A while back, roughly three years ago, I tried to write a small story. Well I began it on paper then moved to a word doc. But then after about 20,000 words in I realized I had literally no plans for how I wanted this to go, I had just made a concept of what the characters looked like and acted like, no actual plot
So I totally scrapped that idea and gave up. Then a couple months later I discovered wattpad and started reading whatever I found interesting and after a little over a year I wanted to try again, this time I got an idea from the writing prompts page here on tumblr and went off of that until it changed completely about four times.
For this story I made sure it was different, I made a very rough outline of how I wanted the story to play out and went to work on it. Let's just say I only got about four chapters in, each with roughly 2,000 - 3,000 words. Soon I realized I didn't plan enough and unpublished what I had and made plans to go over what I started but never had.
Cut to about three months ago, my instagram feed had been showing me many posts about how to build your own story from the ground up, what you need to think about when making characters, pretty much how to write a good book. And all of those got me think of the failed attempts at writing I already had.
I continued to read actual published book and wattpad publish books until finally I started planned my own story. It was mostly in my head as just a concept for a fantasy world that I wanted as my base. A few days ago at work I put my plans into action by sketching out a rough world map on the back of a notepad.
Once home the following night I got my bullet journal (that I had also forgotten about when I was trying to do bullet journaling) and started again with a world map, then I got to naming, then i got to creating the different types of creatures i wanted and then we get to today when I'm writing this post.
This is the actual furthest I have gotten in any sort of planning and i haven't even started on a plot or any actual characters. I realize whether you are planning to write a fiction based on the current world you live in, or a world entirely made up, that you have to start from the very bottom and work your way up to your actual story writing. Rather than jumping in with very shallow characters and absolutely no storyline to actually follow.
If you actually read any of this I appreciate it and if you have yet to start that worry you been wanting to write, just remember to plan out what you want before you try to write, or else it'll just make it 100× harder.
If you see this feel free to add on with your own personal rant about literally anything at all and then add your tags

depression tips™
shower. not a bath, a shower. use water as hot or cold as u like. u dont even need to wash. just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. sit on the floor if you gotta.
moisturize everything. use whatever lotion u like. unscented? dollar store lotion? fancy ass 48 hour lotion that makes u smell like a field of wildflowers? use whatever you want, and use it all over.
put on clean, comfortable clothes.
put on ur favorite underwear. cute black lacy panties? those ridiculous boxers u bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? put em on.
drink cold water. use ice. if u want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost.
clean something. doesn’t have to be anything big. organize one drawer of ur desk. wash five dirty dishes. do a load of laundry. scrub the bathroom sink.
blast music. listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both.
make food. don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. take the time and make food. even if it’s ramen. add something special to it, like a hard boiled egg or some veggies. prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something.
make something. write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. even if you don’t think you’re good at it.
go outside. take a walk. sit in the grass. look at the clouds. smell flowers. put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin.
call someone. call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. talk to a stranger on the street. have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. if you can’t, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. even if you don’t say much, listen to them.
cuddle your pets if you have them/can cuddle them. take pictures of them. talk to them. tell them how u feel, about your favorite movie, a new game coming out.
