I put some awesome Hip Hop songs that I produced with some fellow Dads and 3 distinguished gentlemen that you may have known if you enjoyed Underground Hip Hop from it's Inception to today. These were not the Tupac Biggie and JayZ's. These artists wove lyrics concurrently but from a parallel plane where imagery and cleverness was king. I invite you to revisit an album that celebrates the artistry of the actual craft of rhyming over a beat rather than collecting a check or non "Dusty"status. In alphabetical order, the individuals you may or may not recognize from over various decades of Indie Hip Hop are Alaska (Hangar 18, Def Jux, Atoms) Breez Evahflowin (Stronghold Crew, Blaze Battles, #EOW), Cryptic One (Pirata, Atoms Family), Dj Grouch, Eff Yoo (Broken Home/Home Schooled, Rikers Island Boxing School), Fatboi Sharif, Garcia Vega, I Am Many (Level X, Many Styles) Jak Progresso (Johnny 23) , Jermiside One (Lessondary), Lodeck (Johnny 23), P.So the Earthtone King (Aok Collective),Rob Cave Jr., Seezmics, Tanya Morgan Some appear together and some appear Solo. It's not just a compilation of throwaway verses as concepts and beast mode verses run rampant over Deep Beats. I Had An Accident Records put in the order early to ensure the wait wouldn't be long. Humans that opt to preach, convert, and spread news of their faith systems seem to not consider their privilege. For example, eskimos born in ice inherit the belief system where death is a blessing. Let’s take that system and evangelize the planet with it. Not likely.
