Aerwyna is an original Medic OC made for Etrian Odyssey, whose newest adventure is currently in the works.

Lucifuge (presented here) is Aerwyna in a Lobotomy Corporation AU where the Sephirah (as well as employees and even some abnormalities) are replaced by OCs originally created for Etrian Odyssey guilds. Lucifuge replaces Yesod as the Head of the Information Department.

Aerwyna is driven by her desire to help everyone she can, and struggles with losing people she cares about, as well as the idea that even if she does her very best, she can't save everyone. Lucifuge is very much the same, with the additional weight of the Information Department's duty of expungement.

The names included are of characters who, within the AU, would be deceased employees/agents. MOST of these characters are dead within their original stories. Within an actual playthrough of LC, these names would be the defaults, but would be replaced by any employees who actually died during the playthrough. Only 8 names appear at any time – if there are more than 8 deceased employees, the names will be selected at random each time this dialogue sequence occurs.*

Satriya – Protector, Guild Auxilium (EO2). The entire guild fell in the first Stratum. Auxilium was on friendly terms with Salutis (Aerwyna's childhood guild), and as such she was deeply impacted by their deaths. Kazumi – Ronin, Guild Auxilium. Read above. Celeste – War Magus, Guild Auxilium. Read above. Emilia / Emil█ – Troubadour(s), Guild Auxilium. Read above. A pair of twins who used the same nickname (Emi) – hence the layering. Nerida – Hoplite, Guild Abyssi (EO3). Killed by her guild leader (Dana) after turning against her. (possible rewrite in progress.) Aerwyna did not know her. Edelgard – Fortress, Guild Quisque (EO4). Succumbed to the Titan's Curse. Aerwyna did not know her. Hesper – Nightseeker, Guild Quisque (EO4) / Guild Finis (EOX). His former life as an assassin finally caught up to him. Aerwyna did not know him (this may change). Catalina – Protector, Guild Salutis (EO2). Succumbed to illness after retiring. Aerwyna's adoptive (and biological – it's complicated) mother. Hazel – Hexer, Guild Salutis. Aerwyna's childhood friend and current partner. (New stories with them are currently underway!) Due to her struggles with loss, Aerwyna is extremely protective of them.

Exact roles for this characters and their relationship to Lucifuge within the AU are still in development. It is likely Catalina was an influential figure early on in Lucifuge's existence as a Sephirah. Hazel and Lucifuge will have been very close, though specifics are obviously still being worked on.

* Naming an employee Hazel and having them die during a playthrough will result in a unique trigger where Lucifuge repeats the name until the screen is heavily obscured. This name will always be last in the order as an additional 9th name, and will appear everytime the dialogue sequence occurs.
