hmm potentially, he only has claws in his hands though and i don’t think his grip would be particularly good with them, so he probably wouldn’t even consider it if he can just fly.

KK though i’ve definitely thought about climbing on walls, but with KK it’s more a case of “its appendages are literally scissors it could just stab into the drywall”. KK’s very spider-like to me so i think it would definitely do that as opposed to hibiki. speaking of KK i can also picture it hanging upside down like a bat but i’m not sure about the logistics of that

now that i think about it probably the same reason for him having sharp claws i just don’t draw those as much cuz the way i draw fingers is Very square. he could probably do the cool thing of opening a glass bottle that requires a bottle opener entirely one-handed and would offer to do this for people just to prove his usefulness

fun fact hibiki has sharp teeth not just because he is a kittycat but also because the little fangs are functionally like. for opening bottles/cans he will just bite it off. there is an actual functional purpose for why he has little fangs

i have actually thought abut the logistics of this a Shockingly large amount and that is because livicom eyesight does Not function the same as animal eyesight

some livicoms have camera eyes and they can basically see the same as humans but the vast majority of them just have screen eyes which are explicitly cosmetic, and their vision is more like echolocation, they scan their surroundings to see what’s around them, and things like light/color take longer to process so unless it’s Absolutely Necessary [such as like, a colorblind test for whatever reason, IDK] most of em just don’t bother and their vision looks like the wireframe models in smash melee

so to get to the Point, hibiki unfortunately wouldn’t even See the laser unless he was explicitly seeking it out, and his reaction time to pounce on it would be super delayed like that one video of the cat that just got out of surgery and is still on painkillers and swats the laser like ten seconds after it’s gone or whatever.

tl;dr he WOULD chase it, he would just have the worst latency you have ever seen
