Hello! I'm Zeef! I'm getting my bachelor's degree in history and will be getting a masters in museum studies. I love history, and I love playing out stories in the sims! This blog is mostly for me to keep track of cc I like, and to share my stories.
THE PATIO OF TOMORROW - A Pre-Atomic War Patio Set 🦩🌞
𝙷 𝙾 𝚆 𝙳 𝚈 𝙽 𝙴 𝙸 𝙶 𝙷 𝙱 𝙾 𝚁 !
The Sanctuary Hills HOA would like to invite you to the bi-monthly Neighborhood BBQ Block Party! There's going to be dogs, burgs, waterslides and someone might even catch on fire!
I hope you have fun with this little set! It's bright and summery and a should hopefully fill that little hole in your atomic heart you didn't know you had.
Have fun! Don't burn your buns on the metal furniture! 🦩
In an attempt to keep my CC free for everyone on release, I've added a one time tip option to my Patreon shop! Give it a look if that sounds like something you'd be interested in.
I put a lot of time and love into these sets, and every dollar is so so appreciated. 💗
♫How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord, is laid for your faith in his excellent word, what more can he say, than to you he hath said. You, who unto Jesus for refuge have fled?♫
Aren't you sick of your poor ladies having absolutely NOTHING to wear? They can't afford the latest and finest silks, and of course, they don't want to wear their mother's pre-revolution outfits. Yuck! This is a working-class dress for your regency ladies who are on the less fortunate side and with the new and fashionable empire waist!
This is a frankenmesh of a dress from @peebsplays & @gilded-ghosts. I also used a fichu from @acanthus-sims and an apron texture from @chere-indolente
BGC, with 20 swatches all inspired by actual fashion plates of the time
Below are pictures of actual working-class regency dresses
Oh, what's this? Sweet little Emma seems to be playing with her brand-new baby doll, Polly. How adorable!
She's so proud of her Polly that she wants to show her off to the world! She starts tugging on her mother's apron to get her to see Polly.
Oh no! Her mother isn't giving her any attention. Instead of turning to see Emma's doll, her mama seems to be preoccupied with her own baby, Emma's new little sister, Annabelle.
Poor, poor Emma. It's hard being a 3 year old. It's harder getting a new sibling who seems to get your mother's undivided attention and you're no longer the star of the show.
:(
Oh, but fear not little one, for you will always be the center of attention when Aunt Beth is around.
Alexandrine, an early 1820's Dress for your regency ladies.
I've decided for every set or series of dresses I make they'll be a part of a collection called 'My Fair Lady'. I will release more dresses and sets from different eras in the future : ) I have a late baroque big set that'll be coming towards the end of the month.
This is a frankenmesh of a dress from @peebsplays & @historicalsimslife
BGC, with multiple swatches
I'd like to add that the dress comes plain without any flowers or added jewels. I used flowers and jewels from @acanthus-sims @royaltysimblr and @batsfromwesteros
I've named it Alexandrine after the crown princess for my fictional English country. Her name is Alexandrine and she will succeed the throne when her father dies as there are no male heirs.
Now I say it's 1820s as the silhouette aligns more with the silhouette of the years 1820-1822 but in reality, this could work from about 1817-1823
Pics of dresses from my Pinterest board from 1817-1823 : )
I originally released this outfit for toddlers as a part of the Jane Austen Collab I did with Zuessim and Atashi 77 in 2020 before I had set up my Patreon, but once we had infants I knew I needed to convert it. You can find the toddler version here.
A while ago I asked you all if you prefer waiting for whole sets or having items released one at a time and you overwhelmingly voted for releasing things as they're ready so here are Caroline Abbott's Holiday long satin gloves and shoes, flats with a rose stitched on the front. I've included infant and toddler versions of the shoes as well.
I'm also revamping my version of Caroline's Holiday dress which you can get a sneak preview of in the child preview image.
I originally published this back in September of 2019 but it needed a big update and it own post because it got easily lost. Here’s a child conversion of my Regency activist outfit.
The set was already public for over a month now, however this time I decided to make the cane chair base game compatible, fix some shadow aberration on the cabinet, correct the colour of the blue swatch of the chair and added a second version of chair.
So one of my favorite webtoons, Heir's Game, ended in December and I was so devastated. I didn't want it to end! I decided to make some of the clothes the protagonist wears in the webcomic to assuage my grief. It's set in a sort of fantasy world with 18th and early 19th century costumes that are quite close to historically accurate. I also thought it was a shame there were none of these gorgeous full-skirted waistcoats in the Sims (at least, not at the time I started making this nine months ago... has anyone else made one yet?) However, it's not totally historically accurate as it's also kind of fanart.
But this would probably work for mid-18th century. I recreated a lot of the looks seen in the webtoon and also made some plain swatches for less dapper gentlemen.

This is a fullbody outfit for teen/adult/elder without included shoes or stockings. (My shoes are located here). More information and closeups below the cut.
There's a lot of embroidery on these waistcoats. The one above I hand drew to mimic one that appears frequently in the comic, but all of the others I borrowed from existing Sims clothing, mostly Indian wedding clothes. Those 18th century Europeans certainly loved taking stuff from India... I had some ideas for drawing some elaborate designs on these, but then I remembered that I'm not really that good at drawing textures. There are a lot of 18th century creators in the sims community who are, so I hope that some of you might recolor this one.
The back of real life waistcoats of this type were usually linen or cotton, sometimes not even dyed, as it was intended to be hidden beneath the coat out in public. However, it does look prettier all in the same fabric type, doesn't it?
The weights on this mesh were tricky, which is part of the reason I waited close to nine months after starting it to finish it. I think it looks pretty good for the normal sims activities, but I found when posing in CAS that the waist area looks strange with a lot of CC poses. I don't think I can fix that without messing up the other weights, so I'll just be leaving it as it is.
Also, please read Heir's Game! It's really good, and you can read it for free on webtoon. Lots of political intrigue, sword duels, violence and it's also very gay.
I had a request from @saudade-sims4 to recolor the Brittany hair with ponytail by @blogsimplesimmer for her. Of course I said yes because it’s impossible for me to say no to her. Plus, it’s a really freaking cute hair by!
An outfit based off of the clothes of the Sámi people of northern Scandinavia. My character/sim Mao and his brother Katsuo (in the preview) are half Sámi so I thought this would be a fun set! Female Counterpart as well as matching shoes and gloves are here!
The dress and cape meshes by enchanteddominion are INCLUDED. (I had to update the dress mesh since the lod1, lod2 and lod3 weren’t compatible with the lod0.)
The dress has 12 recolors (6 with a tartan skirt & 6 with unicolored skirt)
The cape has 2 recolors (Off white and light brown in knitted cotton texture)
What is better in winter than the warmth from furs*? The Visby Fur Cape is bigger and warmer than the Birka version.
*Pixel furs. No animals, pixelated or others, were harmed.
Capes are tricky in Sims 4, and I did my best to avoid clipping, but this also depends on the clothing underneath.
Converted from Crusader Kings III. For all ages. You find it under Head Accessories/Earrings, with a special thumbnail. Though it uses the lower corner of tops UV, so it may clash with outfits that do the same. The kids and toddler's versions get their textures from the adult version. All merged in one file, if you want to edit or remerge, unmerge first. (If you for example want to change it from "Earrings" to something else. I recommend keeping the files together.

CK3 Norse Visby Clothing Set for All in the Family
This set is named after the City of Roses, the prettiest little Medieval town on the Island of Gotland, in the Baltic Sea. (Google Visby and see some gorgeous medieval houses, ruins and roses!)
The set is a conversion of two outfits from Crusader Kings Norse clothing - I also edited it and converted it for all ages.
Johnny is showing the male adult outfit.
Kids & toddlers' versions. Toddler's version is unisex.

Kids' versions.
The skirt version for adult, as the kids and toddlers versions, get their textures from the Adult Female & Adult Male versions with pants. All are merged in one file, if you want to edit or remerge, unmerge first.
