Question time! If Viktor (Arcane) was in your Moon Cursed universe, what/who would he be and why? What would his social rank be? Would he like who he is? How would he differ and how would he be similar to his original story? Give us the beans details!

Oooh what a fun question!

At first I thought he would be a moon cursed, but after giving it some thought, I think he'd make a good human ally to the moon cursed. Coming from his Undercity background, he probably knows a thing or two about unfair treatment and struggling to get by, which is the situation for many moon cursed. I could see him using his skills to help cursed ones get by in human society. His fellow humans would probably scoff at him for it, but Viktor isn't really one to concern himself with what other people think he should do, anyway.

If he WAS a moon cursed, he would probably end up joining some underground rebel group somewhere, because it would be the only place he'd be allowed to unfold his full potential.

I'm currently re-reading your Iron Breakers trilogy after a few years and while I never forgot how much I love Anik and Ren, I've gained a new love in Evalyne. I wish more people would give us female characters like her, maneuvering an impossible situation with cunning, tough and commanding but without losing that soft heart. *chef's kiss*

I wrote Evalyne (as well as many of my other book ladies) from a place of being kind of tired of that "tough women are also always angry and rude" trope we've seen so often in movies and tv in recent years. I LOVE writing my women capable and badass authorities, but (maaybe unless they're evil villains) they're also very capable of being kind and soft without losing their badass-ness. Gotta contribute to more well-rounded women in fiction!

Do you know when Dandelion Boys will be available to order? I'm planning on ordering it and Wild Sky at the same time to add to my collection! I think I saw a post from a few months ago abt it prob being released by end of last year but haven't heard anything abt it since I'm obv not rushing! I kow the creative process takes a lot of time but was just curious if you had a tentative date?

I'm trying to finish Dandelion Boys right in the middle of a very intensive study course. I'm trying to cram 3 years worth of classes into a single year and my exams are coming up in 2½ months. I thought I would have the time and energy to finish editing Dandelion Boys alongside my studies, but I've been struggling to do so! So I've ended up pushing the release date back. But, good news! As it's looking right now, I'm finishing exams in mid-June and then I'll have two and a half entire months of freedom to publish Dandelion Boys!

The novel is very close to being done. I'm halfway though Beta edits. After that, I only have to final edit and proofread and then get the novel set up for publishing. I'm very confident that I can have it ready by August or September!
