As a nurse, the better, kinder, option would be to accept that people die. Hospice isn't a horrible thing. What is horrible is making 98 year old grandmas full code believing they're going to fight through and make it.
They aren't. Instead we will break each one of their ribs and torture them only for them to die anyway. Euthanasia isn't the answer, but accepting death as a part of life, and allowing family to go in peace and grace is. Unfortunately people are very reluctant to choose this path for some reason
Euthanasia is gonna fuck up and decimate palliative care/ hospice practices the way the Pill and abortion fucked up women’s health

Allegedly the real reason for the collapse is that China didn't particularly like the Canthan district and wasn't overall pleased with the Guild Wars 1 portrayal of Cantha and its very mixed generalized ~East Asia~ aesthetic. Rather than fix it they just decided not to put the district in. A lot of work then went into End of Dragons to make it more palatable for Chinese audiences.
It is only now I'm finding out that the Crown Pavilion wasn't always there in Divinity's Reach, there was just a massive hole called The Great Collapse. Crown Pavilion was built over it in 1326 AE.

They can. Will possibly have some nerve damage but it's only a 2nd degree burn not a 3rd. The real complication would be risk for infection at this point. However treatment for burns is extremely painful
