Lover (Yuno x Reader)

Pairing: Yuno x Reader (Modern AU)

Genre: Fluff

Word count: 407

Synopsis: College boyfriend Yuno is feeling frustrated over a homework so you decided to do something about it.

A/N: Hi! Sorry for not posting anything for a while. I've been busy with school (tbh, I still am. I'm just choosing to be lazy right now.) Anyways, I hope you all have a great day!

It's already the end of the day. You're hanging around Yuno's apartment scrolling through your phone in his bed. On the other hand, Yuno is currently doing his school requirements at his desk. You aren't really talking to each other but you are happy feeling his presence while you both are doing your own things.

You looked away from your phone for a moment to see a frustrated Yuno which made you think of something. Once again, you scrolled through your phone for a moment and smiled when you saw what you were looking for.

You clicked play and the song immediately started.

Lover by Taylor Swift (you can play this while reading if you want)

As the beat started, you stood up from the bed and walked over to Yuno.

"Will you dance with me?" you offered your hand with a smile while waiting for his answer.

"What?" Yuno looked up at you, confused.

"I said will you dance with me? Come now." you moved your hand slightly up and down to make him hold your hand already.

"Okay, I guess." He's still confused but held your hand anyway. You lead him at the center of the room where you both are free to dance.

You lead his hands on your waist as you placed yours around his neck. Leading the dance, you moved your feet to the right then to the left. Basically slow dancing to the song.

"Are you alright?" you said as you placed one of your hands on his cheeks delicately brushing your thumb on it.

"Yes, the assignment is just frustrating." he leaned his head on your hand holding his cheeks while giving you a small smile.

"Do you need help? I'm here too you know."

"I'm fine. Just rest. You've worked hard enough last week."

"If you say so. Just know that I'm here if you need me, alright?" you told him with a serious look on your face. You want him to be able to depend on you as well and not just you depending on him.

"Yes, I know. Thank you, (y/n)." he pulled you closer almost hugging you as both of you are still dancing.

"Then, are you feeling better now?" you asked. Hopefully, you were able to take his mind of the school work that's causing him stress for a moment.

"Yes, thank you. I love you so much."

"I love you too, Yuno." And with that, he pulled you into a sweet kiss, smiling in between kisses.

Ever since that day, I started to accept that it was really over. The path to happiness was rocky but I was able to conquer it with the help of my friends and with his help.

Acceptance is the first step to moving on. Of course, seeing that scene was a mind-opener for you. Any thoughts of getting back together were discarded.

Your happiness is the most important thing right now.

The Black Bulls was a huge help. You really appreciate how much they care about you. They weren’t saying it directly but you can feel it from their actions.

Captain Yami didn’t send you on any joint missions with the Golden Dawn. Finral would invite you to go to places using his magic. Charmy served you your favorite dishes almost every day. Vanessa took you out to drink or go shopping every once in a while. The chaos brought by Magna and Luck everyday was enough to make you smile. Gauche would make you look at a photo of Marie. Gordon will often follow you around. You barely understand what he is saying but it’s the thought that counts. Grey will cheer you up by impersonating the other members. Zora would surprise you with his rainbow stink bug. (Forget about Yuno and focus on the foul smell, am I right?) Noelle, Asta, and Nero would basically do ANYTHING just to make you smile at least once a day.

Moving on from what you thought would last forever was difficult. But, moving on with the support of your friends made it easier. Especially, with his support.

“(y/n)!!” Asta screamed from the top of his lungs.

“You don’t have to scream, I’m literally right next to you!” you screamed back.

“Do you want to go on a mixer with us?” he said slightly lowering his voice. You really don’t understand how such a loud voice is coming from that tiny body. Why is it that he’s so loud while Yu- Nevermind.

“A mixer? That’s Finral’s idea, isn’t it? Sure, I’ll go with you.”

“Great! Let’s make some new friends (y/n).”

‘He probably still doesn’t know what a mixer is for even though he already went with Finral that one time.’ You thought

After getting yourself ready, you went out of the base where you saw Finral, Asta, and Noelle waiting for you.

“Noelle? I didn’t know you were also going. Keeping watch, huh?” you said with a smirk making her flustered. Everyone knew she liked Asta, except Asta.

“W-what?! I just- I just thought that you would be more comfortable if there was another girl with you!”

“Yeah sure, Noelle.” You said with another smirk making her as red as a tomato.

You quickly arrived at the diner thanks to Finral’s magic.

You and Finral each sat on the ends of the seats with Noelle and Asta in between you.

The conversation started by introducing yourselves to each other. You started talking to the person in front of you with a slightly long black hair and brown eyes. You could say that he is good looking. You both talked about your life and what you do.

He told you that he runs a restaurant. You could see the passion in his eyes while talking about cooking and making people happy through food. You learned that he runs the small restaurant were you saw him with another girl. You felt your heart ache but you tried to ignore it.

You were so caught up in the conversation that you forgot about your comrades. You turned to your side to see if they were doing fine. Finral was mostly flirting, but you already expected that. Asta was as cheerful as ever. And, Noelle was continuously interrupting Asta and the girl in front of him, completely ignoring the existence of the man in front of her.

The night ended well, at least for you. Finral, once again, used his magic to take you all back to the base.

“Thanks, Finral. I had fun tonight.” You said with a smile and hugged him.

“You’re welcome, (y/n). Let me help you get back on track.” He said as he hugged you back.

You waved him a goodbye while walking on your way to your room.

…

You went on several trips with Finral during your free time. You went to the Royal Capital a lot but he would also bring you to places with beautiful sceneries from time to time. Like, right now.

You were lying down on a flowery field next to him, looking up at the sky.

“Thank you…” you said while smiling up at the sky.

“For what?” he asked and you noticed his eyes on you, but you continued looking at the blue sky.

“You’ve always been with me, since the start. From when he broke up with me.” Saying those words still hurt, even after many months, but not as much as it did.

Finral got flustered when you said that as he didn’t really think much of it. He was helping you just like a friend would. But, he was happy hearing those words from you.

He didn’t answer so you looked at him. He looked so peaceful with his eyes closed with a satisfied smile on his face. You did the same thing and both of you relaxed in the comfortable silence.

…

It has been over a year already. The broken pieces of your heart are finally back together. No heart aches. Just plain happiness.

You continued on your duty as Magic Knight, saving lives. Up until now, you’ve focused on yourself and nothing but yourself. You’ve learned a lot about yourself in a process. You realized that there really is a rainbow after the rain.

You were hanging out again with Finral today. You walked around the Royal Capital before deciding to rest at the park.

“(y/n)?” he quietly said that you barely heard him.

“yes?” you turned to look at him curiously noticing that he looked so nervous.

“I- I like you!”

Did I hear him right? He likes me?

“W-what? Since when?” you asked, confused and shocked at the sudden confession.

“I don’t know. That day when we went to the mixer? The girl in front of me got annoyed since I continued checking on you if you were doing alright. When I saw you having fun with that guy, instead of feeling relieved, I felt a pang of jealousy. I don’t know. I just really wanted to protect you more since then.” He was looking at the ground, fiddling his fingers, as he said those in a quiet and shy voice. You smiled at his cute gestures.

“I like you too, Finral.” You told him back. The look of shock on his face when he looked at you was so funny that you couldn’t stop laughing. He was blushing. A LOT.

“I think I am finally clean and it’s all thanks to you. I’m ready to start another chapter of my life with you.” You told him, smiling wildy at the man in front of you. You hugged him which he happily returned and kissed you on the forehead. The sweet gesture made you smile, hugging him tighter.

…

On the other side of the park, on the exact place where everything ended, there was Yuno.

Recently, he’s been coming back to that spot a lot. He regretted it. Breaking up with you. Why did he end it instead of fixing it? Why did he even think that he’d feel happier without you? Why did he make you cry when he promised not to? You are his happiness. You were his happiness.

Yuno saw everything. He saw how you smiled at Finral, the way you once smiled at him. He saw how you two hugged and how he kissed your forehead.

‘It’s over already. I was the one who ended it.’ He thought upon seeing both of you.

You’re happy now. Without him.

Someone else will now take care of your heart that he once broke. Someone even more worthy of your love.

He wanted to pull you back but he knew that he shouldn’t. Instead, he turned around and walked away from you. Just like that day.

Regrets. That was his punishment for breaking the one who truly loved him.

A/N: I got inspired by You All Over Me by Taylor Swift. You should all give it a listen if you want! Anyways, I hope you enjoy this story that I made ^^

Everything is going well. Well, I thought it was. I thought we were happy, but I guess I was the only one.

You were in the middle of the park. Just standing there. Crying. Your tears were falling and the rain was pouring. You couldn’t believe what just happened. Everything you thought you knew was all wrong.

…

It was your day off from Magic Knight duties. Yuno, your boyfriend, invited you to meet at the park at the Royal Capital. You got yourself ready, putting on a comfortable yellow summer dress. You also put on a bit of blush and lip gloss. You wanted to look pretty for yourself and for Yuno. You aren’t the most confident person, but dressing up just makes you feel good about yourself.

Before you left the Black Bulls Base, you told your comrades that you will be out for the day. Despite the chaos going on in the base, everyone still said their goodbyes with cheeky grins knowing that you’ll be meeting your boyfriend.

…

“Yuno!” you called out when you saw that he was already at the park also wearing casual clothes. You stopped in front of him and gave him a peck on the cheek. You expected him to blush or show any kinds of reaction, but he didn’t. Bell, on the other hand, also looked at you sadly. You thought that something was weird, but you just brushed those thoughts away.

“So, what are we gonna do today, love?” you asked him in a soft yet excited tone. You haven’t been able to hang out for a while making you really excited when he asked you out.

“(y/n)…”

“hmm?” you looked at him curiously. On the other hand, he looked at you with no emotions. At all.

You looked at Bell who was unusually quiet, but she only looked away.

“I’m not happy anymore. Let’s break up.” He looked at you in the eye as he said words that you never thought would come out of those pretty lips of his.

“W-what? Yuno, stop joking. This isn’t funny.” You tried to hold his hand, but he only pushed it away.

“Like I said, let’s break up. Let’s end this relationship that wasn’t going anywhere to begin with.”

“What do you mean? Did I do anything wrong? I thought we were happy. I thought you love me as much as I love you. Is that not the case? Can’t we still fix this?” with tears wanting to fall, you asked him so many questions that you wanted answers for.

“Just forget about me, (y/n). This is not working out. Be happy even with someone else and I will do the same.” That was his last words before living you alone. He started walking away. Away from you and away from what you both were.

“I’m sorry, (y/n).” Bell said and gave you a sad smile before catching up to Yuno.

As they walked away, rain started pouring and your tears started falling.

…

Yuno broke up with you. YUNO BROKE UP WITH YOU. YUNO BROKE UP WITH YOU.

‘Is this even real?’you thought, still crying.

People were passing by. Running to find shelter from the rain. You, on the other hand, still stood there not wanting to believe what happened.

“(y/n)! (y/n)!” you heard someone screaming your name. You turned to the voice, wanting it to be Yuno. You wanted him to say that it was just a bad prank and that he was sorry for making you cry. But, it wasn’t.

“Finral…” you ran to him. You hugged him tightly and cried with all you’ve got.

“(y/n), what happened? Why are you standing in the rain and why are you crying?” he asked worriedly. He has never seen you cry like that. ‘You were always the one cheering up everyone at the Black Bulls, so why are crying like that?’ he thought.

He decided that it would be best to get you home so he opened a portal leading to the Black Bulls base.

The chaos at the base stopped when they saw you. Everyone looked at you worriedly. Asta and Noelle immediately ran up to you. Noelle didn’t what happened but she hugged you, which was a surprise, but you hugged her back still crying.

They assisted you to sit on the couch. Everyone was silent.

“What happened, (y/n)?!” Asta, being so worried, decided to break the silence.

“Yuno…” you quietly said through your tears but it was enough for everyone to hear and for them to know what happened.

“THAT HANDSOME JERK!” Asta yelled and ran out of the base to who-knows-where.

“(y/n), I prepared some food. Would you like some?” Charmy asked with a worried look on her face, hoping that her food can make you feel better.

“I’m sorry, Charmy. I will go back to my room for now.” Finally finding the strength to stand up, you decided to head to your room. Everyone only looked at you sadly. Even Gauche wasn’t simping on Marie at that time.

You jumped to your bed and cried more.

‘Am I not good enough? Did I do something wrong? Is he really not happy with me anymore?’ questions continued to enter your mind but there weren’t any answers to those questions.

…

Three months passed. You still haven’t moved on. Every place, everything, even the air you breathe reminded you of him. Every night, you still cry yourself to sleep.

Whenever you go on missions, you get distracted making you really injured after each mission. You weren’t the same person the Black Bulls knew. But, you were trying, for the sake of yourself and those you love. You wanted to go back to the old you.

You are taking a scroll at the Royal Capital wanting to cool off the stress from everything happening. You were wearing your Black Bulls uniform so you could hear people talking about you. Good or bad, you didn’t even care.

While walking, you saw a familiar raven haired man through the window of a restaurant. He was also wearing his Golden Dawn uniform. In front of him, you can see a girl wearing the same uniform. They were talking, laughing even. That smile that made you fall for him. You can hear your heart breaking. You turned around not wanting to see the scene. That should’ve been you but everything is different now.

“I’m glad that you’re happy and doing alright. I still got you all over me but someday, no matter how long it takes, I will also be happy with the one I’m meant to be with. Yuno, I guess this is goodbye. Thank you and I love you.”

Yuno taking care of a sick s/o

Pairing: Yuno x reader

• he would notice immediately that something was wrong while you were both walking alongside each other

• he suddenly stopped walking which startled you. he then proceeded to rest his forehead to yours to confirm his suspicions *insert Bell screaming

• he interlaced his fingers to yours as he lead you to the infirmary.

“Sit.” he ordered as he looked through the shelfs looking for medicine.

You only watched him with a weak look in your eyes waiting for him to find was he was looking for.

When he found the medicine, he prepared a glass of water to drink with the medicine.

He handed you both the water and medicine as he sat next to you. After you drank the medicine, he once again interlaced his fingers to yours and headed for your room.

• he would prepare the bed and tuck you in similar to what Sister Lily did whenever any of the kids got sick.

• once he was sure that you were comfortable, he would go to Captain Vangeance to ask him to not send you on any missions for a while since you were sick.

• he would also prepare lukewarm water and washcloth to put on your forehead.

• he would ask Klaus and Mimosa (once he sees them) to make sure that it was quiet outside your room so you can rest. Being the best friends that they are, they’d make sure that you also have something warm to eat when you wake up.

• would definitely tell you a story, if you wanted to, while stroking your hair to help you fall asleep

• would take care of you until after you fall asleep

• he would also be ready to comfort you if ever you get nightmares

• would also definitely show you his rare smiles to comfort you

• basically the best boyfriend i recommend 100/10

Rill comforting a lover losing self-confidence

Pairing: Rill x reader

Word Count: 450

• Rill would immediately notice that something is wrong. You aren’t your usual cheerful self, talking to your comrades and laughing with them.

• Rill would sit next to you while you were eating with the biggest smile on his face then proceeded to impersonate the other magic knight captains. That always made you laugh, but he felt sad when you only looked at him to force a smile then went back to eating.

• He would definitely ask Walter for advice because seeing you like that was making his heartache.

• He then remembered the report of your teammate after you got home from a mission. You weren’t able to save a little kid from the enemies.

• He thought of an idea hoping that it would make you smile.

• Rill would go visit you in your room with snacks and a gift he made for you.

“(y/n)?” he said with a soft voice followed by a knock on your door

“Come in...”

You were sitting on your bed, dazed, as he greeted you with a comforting smile with snacks on one hand and another behind his back. You immediately felt tears in your eyes seeing the person you love most.

“Do you wanna talk about it? I’m here for you, you know?” he spoke in a soft voice as he wrapped his arm on your shoulder with which you soon laid your head on his shoulder.

“I just- I feel like a failure. I’m a failure as a Magic Knight. I can’t even save a kid from danger. A kid who could’ve been someone great. Someone strong. Someone much more competent than I am. I tried. I really did. But I wasn’t strong enough.” you cried and cried as you told your boyfriend how you were really feeling inside. With every word of self-loathe that you were throwing, Rill’s heart was also slowly breaking. He tried his best to stop the tears from coming thinking that he should be comforting you right now.

With a small movement, he showed you the small canvass that he was hiding earlier. A painting of you. Shining bright in the middle of a dark room. Smiling.

“I just want you to know that this is how I see YOU. A ray of light. Your smiles and laughs brightening up the dark surroundings. You are one of the strongest persons I know, you know? Until you see yourself as to how I see you, I will always be here to support and to listen to you.” he showed you his brightest smiles then gave you his warm and tight hug.

With that, you let out all your emotions as you cried yourself to sleep in his warm embrace.

A/N: I’m new to this so please don’t judge me. You can make requests, I guess. I honestly still don’t know how tumblr works hehe. I do hope you enjoy it though~

You just got home to the Black Bulls base from finishing a mission with Asta and Noelle. The feeling of tiredness is definitely worth it as you remember the smiles and thank you’s of those you saved. It was like any other night at the Black Bulls base with everyone in the main room doing their own things.

You suddenly heard the loud grumbling of your tummy which was the cue for you to go to the Royal Capital and head to your favorite diner. You were about to ask Asta and Noelle if they wanted to come but you were greeted with their loud bickering. You got rid of that thought and decided to let them have their moment. You really do hope that your friend, Noelle, gets to confess her feelings soon since you wanted your ship to sail badly.

As you were walking to your favorite diner, you saw a familiar tall raven-haired man with a sylph basically begging for his attention.

“Yuno!”

“(y/n)?” he looked confused for a moment but then smiled as he saw you waving your hands cheerfully at him. He immediately walked over to you and gave you a peck on the cheek. Of course, you blushed even with you dating for months now.

“(y/n)!!! Yuno won’t go on a date with me! Tell him to-” Bell came to you to complain at the speed of light but was stopped with a flick of Yuno’s finger which just made you laugh. You do hope that Bell’s alright though.

“Why are you walking alone right now? Shouldn’t you be resting? You told me you were going on a mission today.”

“Well, I felt hungry so I thought I would go to eat at my favorite diner before resting.” you said as you held his hand to guide him to your favorite diner without asking him since you knew that he will also ask if he can join you. You were really excited to eat that you didn’t notice the slight blush on Yuno’s face when you suddenly held his hand.

While waiting in a line, you suddenly had a great idea being the hopeless romantic that you are.

“Hey, Yuno?” you tapped on his arm which made him look down at you with a questioning look.

“Hmm?”

“Uhm, do you perhaps want to look at the moon and stars while eating?” your eyes were sparkling as you shyly asked him hoping he would say yes.

“Anything you want, Love” he said with a small smile which made you real excited.

You ordered your favorite foods for take out, and once you were outside, Yuno held you close as he used his wind magic to take you both to the highest roof within the area.

Yuno took of his coat once you both reached the top not wanting you to sit in something that may be dirty. It really was once of your dreams to look at the stars with the one you love AND you also have food.

“Yuno? What do you think of when you look at the stars.” you said while staring at the sky, admiring the beauty of the little lights shining at the sky.

“You.” he said nonchalantly.

“Me?!” you were so surprised by what he said that you immediately looked at him while looking like a flustered mess. He stared at you as he said sweet words you weren’t expecting to hear.

“Your eyes. I could stare into your eyes forever. They hold the entire universe in them. Shining so brightly with all the hope in the world. Making me feel so safe while looking into them that I forget all of my worries. Those eyes that presents me with nothing but love.”

“Yuno...” you could only say as tears began to well up in your eyes.

“I love you, (y/n).”

“I love you too, Yuno.”

And with that, you both sealed your unspoken promise of loving each other until eternity with a sweet and soft kiss.
