approx 4 decades old. you can refer to me as Arkady if you need something short. favourite shark: porbeagle. important context for posts: I am in NZ which is in the Sourthern hemisphere. sometimes I reblog posts from "tags I follow" without checking first if the OP is a dick.
I'm assuming (hoping) the croaky screeching noise I keep hearing outside is an Australian possum because otherwise it's ... A pterodactyl? Some kind of undead? I don't know.
In this sonification of Perseus. the sound waves astronomers previously identified were extracted and made audible for the first time. The sound waves were extracted outward from the center. (source)
I woke up feeling normal again. I was feeling anxious and agitated the last few days. Unfortunately I'm not sure what the trigger is for this kind of stuff because I only notice when I go back to "normal" not the other way around. Because when I feel depressed or anxious I always think THAT'S normal and that I've been like that forever.
In terms of like, Please For The Love Of God Get Hobbies That Aren鈥檛 Scrolling Through An App For Six Hours A Day, I understand and experience completely the argument of like. with the stressors of modern work, you don鈥檛 have the energy at the end of the day to do anything but mindlessly watch Netflix and scroll through your phone. but like I would like to gently encourage you to simply force yourself for a time to do something instead of pick up your phone, bc the phone is literally designed to light up your brain with no effort from you whatsoever and it does in fact rot your brain. It makes literally anything but scrolling on your phone seem difficult and joyless. But if you stop scrolling on your phone all the time, and start like, reading or embroidering or gardening or going for walks, you will eventually find the joy in them once more
I understand and it is true that it is hard to have a life outside work and scrolling but there is not a near future where that won鈥檛 be the case and you should still live a life. And you won鈥檛 create a future where that isn鈥檛 the case if you don鈥檛 have the confidence and experience and drive to fight for it
How often should I buy Very Expensive Candles? What about if they're on a little bit of a sale? What about if I only want them for Aesthetic reasons (marketed towards my interest of "the ocean" etc)?
Let us suppose that the "average" horse would have equal proportions of all these parts. The degree to which each part in this poll deviates from the "average" size (20% of total) will determine how large or small that part of our horse will be (i.e a horse with only 10% in Legs will have legs half the size of the average horse).
Oh wait - I was told that I had a negative blood test for Raynaud's and therefore didn't have it, but I just looked it up and that's not how it's diagnosed. They can just do blood tests to help inform whether other conditions might be causing it. So given that I have the symptoms then that means I must have it after all. Good to know after 30 years.
I got shitty at my internet provider on the phone, and lost circulation in my toes. Apparently Raynaud's attacks can be triggered by stress, although I apparently don't have Raynaud's although I do have mild symptoms of it, but anyway is this what they mean it can be triggered by stress because I never understood that but this is super bizarre.
