You said you liked cannibalism and also hanahaki, in my heart the flowers around Ren and Doc are more then metaphorical and Doc has hanahaki in this drawing
It's a bit dark, so clearer version + more visible organs + saying what all the flowers mean in context of this drawing under cut
Black roses (around Ren) – obsession, death, despair, sorrow, danger
Blue daisy (near Ren's hands) – long term loyalty and trust
Lavender (Under Doc and the campfire) – devotion, peace, love
Diphylleia (the small transparent flowers in Doc's guts) – i will show my true self to you, clarity, honesty
Astragalus (Woven into the black roses around Ren) – Your presence softens my pain
Spindle tree (On Doc's eye and around his heart) – Your image is engraved on my heart, unlucky, bad omen for the plague

Since the toxic Scarian anon came out with their comments, I’ve been feeling as if this might be time to speak about something that weighs on my mind.
Hermitcraft Scarian is also inherently toxic.
Please, hear me out. This is important and the fact that our community has let this slide for so long is something that seriously disturbs me. When our community lets toxic behaviors like this pervade into our literature, we perpetuate this ideal relationship that is abusive and tells us that this kind of abuse is acceptable.
Hermitcraft Scarian is toxic in the reverse way that Third Life Scarian was represented to be in the previous anon’s confession. Grian appears to be the abuser while Scar, over and over again, is the victim.
Most importantly is the way Grian belittles Scar for his intelligence. Every time Scar and Grian interact, it makes me cringe and I just wait for the moment that Grian says something demeaning or calls Scar stupid, even if it’s subtle. Perhaps the subtle wording is even worse, it mocks Scar in a way that he cannot understand but the audience obviously can.
Scar and Grian are also police apologists. If you have seen any of Hermitcraft season 10, you’ll know that Scar has been hired to police the shopping district. He has made multiple jokes about “keeping people in line” to ensure they abide by the law. This is a take I’ve seen too often in the Blue Live Matter movement. They either support cops or are willfully ignorant to the fates of so many people who have suffered from police brutality.
There’s so much more wrong with their relationship, but I just needed to get this off my chest.
Mumbo is also an enabler. Probably the worst kind.

people don’t talk about it enough but desertduo/scarian is inherently abusive and shouldn’t be shipped or platformed. Specifically Thirdlife is the biggest culprit but their dynamic in general is just. Toxic and bad.
But like in Thirdlife their relationship is incredibly abusive. The power imbalance between Grian and Scar makes it where the two of them CANNOT be shipped together without it being morally wrong. Grian’s life was in Scar’s hands that entire series, Scar could (and did) hold that over his head. Heck multiple people talked about “rescuing” Grian and it was framed almost as a hostage situation. None of Grian’s choices were his own and I do not think a ship based off of that could be moral and sound in any way. Scar even did kill Grian at the end over a piece of paper, showing how much he valued Grian’s life.
The cactus ring shouldn’t be framed as an end to a tragic love story, but as a victim taking power back and killing their abuser. Scarian fans genuinely should go touch grass and realize they shouldn’t be romanticizing this kind of thing.
