Quahog Excellent Adventure 101: Time Travel Renaissance
Addicts Phone Home!!! Yes? No? Okay let’s use the Phone Booth to time travel instead then!
With the new Quahog’s Excellent Adventure Phase 2 now live in the game, there is also a lot of new gameplay.
For this Event, much of that resolves around time travelling via the Phone Booth, and this post will cover our second destination, the Renaissance.
In the lower right corner of your game screen, you will see 3 new icons next to your shopping cart. The one in the middle is for the Phone Booth that you will use this area to “travel” to places and acquire items to further help you along in the game.
As the game progresses, more locations will unlock for you to travel to. The first location you will see will be Colonial America, and the second is the one we’re going to talk about here, Renaissance.
To go to Renaissance, just select it from the Phone Booth Time Machine screen, the button will turn to a green “EXCELLENT”, tap on green button, you will now be taken to an alternate play area.
Renaissance  Playspace
This is what the Playspace looks like. The first things you will notice as numbered above are 1 General Store, 2 Phone Booth Crash Site and 3 the Renaissance Mystery Box.
GENERAL STORE (Craft Area)
Here is where you can trade items, in Renaissance it’s Plague Rats to craft Plague Wine to attack Genghis Khan.
It will take 2hrs to turn 2 Plague Rats into 1 Plague Wine. You can create up to 6 Plague Wine at a time. Each one will sit until the one before it is complete, then autostart the creation process.
PHONE BOOTH CRASH SITE
This will be in the Center of the Renaissance Area. You will most likely see Characters on tasks at this location during the event, clicking on it will bring you up a list of characters and the tasks they are undertaking there. See the example below. It also drops $10 & 10xp every 24hrs
Renaissance Repair Locations:
You will also notice MANY hammers to “repair” building as you progress. These are as numbered above: 1 Trebuchet; 2 Last Supper Restaurant; 3 Statue of David; 4 Pied Piper; 5 Michelangelo’s Studio; 6 Body Sculpting Gym; 7 Sa Vinci’s Workshop; 8 Plague Doctor University; 9 Renaissance Man Peter Statue
What follows is details on all the items to be repaired, including their cost and usefulness during the event to date. And whether you will be required to purchase it to progress.
1: Trebuchet Earns: 20 XP every 4 hours Drop: Chance of 1 Medieval Helmet every 4 hours Cost: 25 Time Capsules Additional Info: One way to collect Medieval Helmets for unlocking Leonardo Da Vinci. You will be directed to repair this building at Pt. 8 of the main Questline, however you can choose to repair it earlier if you have the resources.
7: Da Vinci’s Workshop Earns: 20 XP every 4 hours Drop: Nothing Cost: 2 Time Capsules Additional Info: You will need to repair this to start collecting the items required to unlock Leonardo Da Vinci.
8: Plague Doctor University Earns: 35 XP every 10 hours Drop: Nothing Cost: 50 Time Capsules Size: 5×5 Additional Info: You will need to unlock this item to complete Pt. 5 of the main Questline.

What The Deuce?!
Happy Weekend Clammers!
Well we’ve all made it through another week and the weekend is here!
All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game and we wanted to give you (and us) a way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest.
So welcome to WHAT THE DEUCE?!
Here’s your place to vent about anything and everything, Family Guy or not. Consider this your weekly bitch fest and get it all out with a good…WHAT THE DEUCE?! And start your weekend fresh!
Just be respectful of others & be mindful of the language while commenting. Censor yourselves so we don’t have to!!
REMEMBER: This is the ONLY place on our site where all that Venting and Frustration is allowed, so please Respect the Addicts Guidelines and post them ONLY here. What The Deuce?! are always open, so you can use them at anytime. 24/7, 365 days a year. Help us by keeping the Vents/Rants off all the other helpful posts.
Vents placed anywhere else on the site will find their way to the Trash instead. Keep in mind that this is the Addicts Site, not TinyCo’s… so respect that we do not have to field the abuse for them, but are just giving an outlet to vent frustrations for our Readers. Direct Abuse towards anyone in any shape or form however will not be allowed on the site… period.
Here’s mine for this week:
WHAT THE DEUCE… Ok, here goes on why I’ve no mowns for this Whst The Deuce.  Being based in the UK I honestly feel this week I couldn’t complain about anything as trivial as game related due to the terrible atrocity committed in Manchester this week. Watching events unfold on the News certainly put frustrations over drops and timed characters into perspective. So I’m taking a vow of silence from moaning for this What the Deuce, but that doesn’t mean you guys have to so I’m putting this post up for you.
Now it’s YOUR turn…give us your WHAT THE DEUCE?! moments!  Go on, get it off your chest…you’ll feel a lot better!

Do I Want That? Michelangelo
So you think you’re as rich at Carter Pewterschmidt? Own a fancy house like Buzz Killington? You sure gotta lot of clams there, whatcha gonna do with them?
BUY LOTS OF STUFF OF COURSE!!!
Now hold on there a minute. Are you SURE you want that? With all these cool Quahog’s Excellent Adventure limited time event items in the game, it is very easy to get carried away. Before you know it, Clamshell Shock! All gone!
So before you go ahead and buy Michelangelo with your hard-earned Clams, here’s a few things you might want to know about him.
Character: Yes, this is a Full Character Clam Price: 270 Clams Unique: Yes
PROS:
A New Character
8hr task to drop 1 Plague Wine
Plague Wine drop is always
2  permanent Animated Tasks
Fully tasked with Questline
CONS:
Frakkin 270 CLAMS!!! Won’t be useful after the Event
MATH OF IT:
I wanted to give you an overall idea of how he COULD benefit your game play. Here are a few breakdowns to give you an idea. I’m basing the math on 2 collections a day and if you want to know the maximum you can collect if you miss sleep etc to collect bang on every 8hrs there’s also a breakdown for 3 collections a day.
1  Plague Wine every 8hrs  x  2 collections a day = 2 Plague Wine a day
19 days (as of 05/26) x 2 = 38 Plague Wine until the end of the event
  1 Plague Wine every 8hrs  x  3 collections a day = 3 Plague Wine a day
19 days (as of 05/26) x 3 = 57 Plague Wine until the end of the event
And just a quick reminder that Plague Wine are needed to attack Genghis Khan, and of all the places you can get Tea Crates BESIDES this Premium Character. This is just as of now.
Plague Wine: Create in General Store
Final Thought:
Personally, I’ve not bought him, as I bought Ted in Phase 1, but I think he’ll be very useful as the Plague Wine will let you attack Genghis Khan more and not only does Genghis Khan drop items for Leonardo Da Vinci but he also drops this Phase’s Time Capsules. So I think this is the better premium buy this phase, a character with a good drop who will help you get other drops. I can tell you I found Bill a good help in Phase 1 and even now in Phase 2 his area Crates are still coming in handy.  And his value increases when you add in the achievement task his Plague Wine will help you complete, thus  gaining more Time Capsules as a reward. And Time Capsules are very much-needed for this event as you know.
With it being part of a Limited Time Event, just make sure you make up your mind as once the event is over it is most likely they will be gone. In the end it’s your call.  What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think.  But don’t purchase it until YOU are sure. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

Do I Want That? Renaissance Peter Statue
All gone!
So before you go ahead and buy the Renaissance Peter Statue with your hard-earned Clams, here are a few things you might want to know about it.
Building: Renaissance Peter Statue Clam Price: 250 Clams Size: 4 x 4 Unique: Yes
PROS:
A cool looking Renaissance Peter statue for those of you that like to (or can) decorate your town like a Renaissance painter would.
Drops 3 of the Phase 2 Renaissance Time Capsules needed for the Renaissance Playspace in  Quahog’s Excellent Adventure Event.
Drop is “Always”.
No need to collect as many Time Capsules from other Tasks
If the upcoming Phases are set up similar to this Phase he will be useful for the entire event.
Payout  Time Drops 35XP 10 hrs 3 Time Capsules
CONS:
Frakkin 250 CLAMS!!
No animation to the Decoration
Not used by Characters
Won’t be useful after the Event
MATH OF IT:
I wanted to give you an overall idea of how it COULD benefit your game play. Here are a few breakdowns to give you an idea. I’m basing the math on 2 collections a day. (But if you want to know the maximum you can collect if you miss sleep etc life to collect bang on every 10hrs for the rest of the event, it’s 136 Time Capsules.)
3 Time Capsules every 10hrs  x  2 collections a day = 6 Time Capsules a day
19 days (as of 05/26) x 6 Time Capsules = 114 Time Capsules for the Event
Time Capsules needed for just the Renaissance Buildings needed to unlock Leonardo Da Vinci in Phase 2 = 332 Time Capsules
Time Capsules needed to unlock all the Renaissance Buildings  in Phase 2 = 452 Time Capsules
Just a quick reminder to that we don’t know if these will be useful next Phase, but I’m hopeful we’ll see an exchange for the newer Time Capsules like we have this Phase, and of course here’s all the places you can get Time Capsules BESIDES this Premium Iten.. This is just as of now.
Time Capsules: Completing Achievement Tasks OR Renaissance Mystery Box OR Trade Colonial Time Capsules for Renaissance Time Capsules in your store
Final Thought:
Personally, I never tend to buy premium buildings/decorations, and I won’t this time either but to be honest, like I said in Phase 1, although I think characters are always a better end product for clams, this item has ok drops, as those Time Capsules will be extremely handy, especially for this Phase and if TinyCo continues to allow us Time Capsules exchanges in the upcoming Phases it will be useful after this Phase also, so it’s possibly useful for the whole of the event. Where I wonder mostly if it’s worth it is the fact we only have Leonardo Da Vinci to unlock this week, and he’s not timed, so if you’re not in a hurry you might want to hold on to your clams. Also if you prefer characters there’s Michaelangelo to consider buying, as his Plague Wine drops will help you attack Genghis Khan and he drops Time Capsules, so Michaelangelo gives you opportunity for get both Plague Wine & Time Capsule really, and for only 20 clams more. So I think only if you’re short of time, and rich with clams, this will be a tempting buy, otherwise I’d pass on it.
Returning Character Profile: Medusa Meg
Greetings Greecians!!
The fourth & final week of Greek Life event back in 2016 brought us some pretty cool new stuff and one of those things was the Medusa Meg character costume. And now she’s back in the Tales of Future Past Mystery Box I thought we would finally  bring you the profile that no one wants to look at, lol.
Let’s take a look at what Medusa Meg can do in our silly lil games.
Medusa Meg was a New Character Costume added during the fourth week of Greek Life 2016, and now returning a year later as we do some time travelling through history as part of Quahog’s Excellent Adventure. As with many costumes in the game you originally had to collect lots of stuff to get her, but this time round she’s a premium prize in the Tales of Future Past Mystery Box.
If you should win her in the mystery box, it will just take you 1 second to finish up and “CREATE!” the Costume in Al’s. When the timer is up, just tap on the Check Mark above Al’s to pull Medusa Meg into your game.
She does come with a Questline, Stone Cold Meg, more on that in a later post.
Medusa Meg does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $ & XP.
Let’s take a look at some of Medusa Meg’s Tasks:
Task Time Earns Drops/ Level Visit a Reptile House 1hr 20  12  Mingle With Mortals 2hrs 30  20  Turn Haters to Stone 4hrs 50  30 Make Friends 6hrs 65  45  Tame Her Hair 8hrs 80  50  Be Stone-faced 10hrs 90  59  Condition Her Hair 24hrs 150  100
Save
Save
Save
Save
