unwilling to live a life not mine in this borrowed body I am confined to an identity distant from my own yet they claim that it is all self-grown happiness eludes, a state unknown barricaded, ongoing distress and pain others' visions of myself, driving me insane though stagnant in this body I will remain unwilling to live a life not mine

Getting There
not quite myself yet your presence failed to reaffirm my essence, dead weight now, you are purely what you once were released from my mind, the yearning as you were freed from my arms long ago I'm so glad we both feel lighter

I wrote and I wrote and I wrote; torrential words cascading down a veiled waterfall — a futile attempt of approval, so I learned how to speak, and I spoke and I spoke and I spoke; submerging the rocks and the trees in chatter, drowning out my very own essence — for it was too much; I am learning to be quiet (strong) again forgiving myself for abandoned droplets and wasted floods

a bitter pill of absent time swallowed the rendition - illusion in my mind nauseating taste, placebo effect for long ago you ceased to exist -
I crave the highest building, concrete splatter high-speed train, method does not matter perhaps you'll recognise me then for I have not once changed
perhaps you'll remember the you I knew the one you so deeply hate

yesterday, isolated in my own reflection a familiar face, held all my attention tonight, the monster returns, owed to my mind's rejection we fuse to become, an ode of protection

a voice forgotten like the passage of time slipped our bodies into strangers skin shed twenty-six times - since our final exchange of words, my memory clings to the hue of your strands woven intricately through the self I now wear, naive in these blood-filled vessels powerless to govern entangled spirits

I feared an empty room without you you feared the deep dark ocean at night by the hospital bed you lingered, whispered hopeful guidance in ear as I bravely paddled you into shore on land we both stay free of trouble we can't know us anymore

Parallel Fates
clang of the tracks rattling carriage flashes of flora and dust
fractured panes reflect unreciprocated familiarity a boy whom you shared first grade absorbed by the mass of strangers who all knowingly decay
seventeen years of silence now eternal, our bodies lie parallel blood gushing down the seats -
as cleanly as our sins deemed worthy of sacrificial act media slaves, headlined the tragic easter commute

Hi, I'd like to help continue the train of good vibes. I'm currently facing the reality of struggling to overcome challenges through my twenty-somethings; ever since we became mutuals, I've been doing my best to follow your poetry, and, of course, it is great - however, more importantly, I feel like what you're able to convey, beyond the words we see, is the kindness you share with strangers who can empathize with your work.
I started my blog in 2016, and met so many people who helped me stay alive just by supporting my (admittedly, terrible) work and giving me advice for the future that I took at face value as a teenager. Without the presence of those truly selfless people, I might not be alive today, and I'm sure you can relate to that sentiment.
It's been eight years now, and the most important interactions are the ones where you feel like nothing more or less than a human being. We are much more than what we do or where we're from, after all.
You have the makings of all those people back then that encouraged me to keep on living, and I hope you'll continue to put out great work with the intention of being a voice for people who struggle to express their frustrations.
Thank you!
damn.. these not quite tears almost made me feel human myself :,) this is genuinely the sweetest thing on earth. thank you!!! your work is amazing - don’t diminish ur ability! I’m so proud of u for all the things you’ve overcome so far and the things you will continue to overcome/live in spite of!! ugh humans can be so lovely huh <33

Murdered by Silence
murdered by silence no sirens would sound tongueless, encumbrance  though no one around you softly gasp for air, vigilantly forbear - ghostly disturbance preceding your own transcendence, upstairs mortals persist in the material realm intertwined to the chorus of crickets faceless neighbours on cannabis revel as you obtain a parting whiff senses gradually ebb away minus the sound of your final heart beat lights go out. executed by stillness for all you were eternally praised
