Any other dog breed we lost or don't know about any more
there used to be a breed of small dog in England called a turnspit that was used to run in a small wheel that powered large spinning roasting spits in big kitchens!
they had their real heyday back in the 16th century, but they started to become less and less common as spit roasting fell out of use and people transitioned to stove cooking.
by the end of the 1800's they were gone altogether, and the breed was officially extinct. all we have left now is the impressions these dogs left in art and pop culture (Shakespeare mentions them a couple times!) and also this one single taxidermy mount:
but hey, maybe it's not altogether a bad thing that these little guys are gone! by all accounts, they were treated pretty terribly and I, personally, am glad that my modern kitchen equipment runs by plugging it into a wall socket and not by throwing hot coals at a small animal to make it go faster.

What is the most plausible method of copulation for stegosaurus and other thyreophoran dinosaurs?
copulation, you say? how asinine!
everyone knows stegosaurs reproduced vegetatively.
Step 1. cut a leaf as needed
Step 2. put the cutting on a flowerpot. then water it. i guess
Step 3. enjoy your new crop of baby steglings

Some Fakemon designs I finished up last month for spooky season!
Goomy > Sliggoo > Goolossal
I first designed the Goomy about a year ago and have been stalling on the evolutions ever since, but I’ve finally gotten to them. Felt fitting for a regional form that gains the Bug type to be based on parasites, leucochloridium to be specific!
Mermorbid
“A certain Galarian researcher has stumped the scientific community with her discovery and revival of a supposed ancient mermaid-like Pokemon. The origin of this fossil is unclear.”
Pretty much just imagine the Fiji mermaid crossed with the Galar fossils. Nobody remembers the original Pokemon so they think its a new species! :)
Impidimp > Morgrem > Grimmurk
Based on the Toronto tunnel monster! They lurk dark sewers and probably smell like wet dog.
