3/13 Moving Polaroids: Style

・Hello hello hello?

Lunar New Year is sort ofsomething that helps Yoonjo feel less lazy than usual. Just slightly less. That’sstill enough for her to crawl out of her loving bed and start thinking of goingoutside breathing some air.

The weather was niceactually, which was good because she didn’t have to protect her tiny body with athick, heavy coat or wrap a long, long scarf around her neck just to make sureshe wouldn’t catch a cold on the first day of new year.

Yoonjo allowed her eyes to wander a little as she was waiting for her friend to show up. There weren’t many people on the streets. People were busy either going back to their hometowns visiting parents and relatvies or staying inside enjoying the very first hours with their family members, she guessed. Yoonjo recognised some of the crossing faces. She sent smiles to the familiar ones, and even to the others who she never met. This period of time, people tended to be nicer and much friendlier.

Her pleasant expression came to a brief stop. Yoonjo gave herself some seconds to look more carefully. Still, she didn’t believe in her own eyes. “Oppa?” It was all that dropped from her mouth before she unknowingly walked – almost ran – to catch up with a tall figure which has just passed by. 

“Annyeong?” The ginger was about to tap on his shoulder but then decided to draw her hand back to her side.

Yoonjo almost choked and spilled hot cacoa all over her skirt just after seeing the text. She carefully read it through one more time to make sure she didn’t get anything wrong. Still the same words. She didn’t misread anything. Omona.

She typed a message in reponse without hesitation. It was candy. Not one, not two, but hundreds. Replacing those candies with anything else, like books or cds, she would kill him right away for creating a mess right in the middle of the holiday. Lucky for Youngmin, Yoonjo had a sweet tooth. That circumstance, which normally could awake someone’s furiousness, now turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
