TODAY IS GLOBAL STRIKE DAY FOR PALESTINE (April 15th, 2024)
Everyone, pause your usual posting of interests and such and focus on Palestine! Bisan called this strike nearly a week ago (if I'm not mistaken), so there is no way you can call this 'sudden'!
I understand not everyone can strike (I am one of them) but if you are seeing this post, you have the means to spread information!
Educating yourself is a very important step into anything, especially protesting online or in person for Palestine, so take this day to keep your social media usage to learning and advocating for Palestine! Keep learning past this day! don't stop until Palestine is free, as it should be!
One thing anybody can do is go to Arab.org and do the daily click for Palestine! it is free! it's one minute of your life! (there are also other causes to donate to on their site!)
This post will contain as much information as I can gather, from comments/reblog additions and other folks on Tumblr. Edits will be under the cut. please, if you have any donation links, informative links, share them for everyone to see! we need maximum visibility for Palestine now and until they are free.

Please reblog the kosa bill posts from me and others. This bill is EXTREMELY dangerous to the queer community and especially queer minors. As a queer and trans minor in a bad home situation, I and many others would be in so much danger if this bill is approved. Its actually so horrific. One of the senators who introduced it, Marsha Blackburn, said that "protecting minor children from the transgender in this culture" was a top priority. As a trans minor, I find this disgusting and harmful to my existence, I'm sure many others my age feel the same way. So please: REBLOG THE KOSA BILL POSTS.
EDIT: IT WILL ALSO CENSOR THE PALESTINE GENOCIDE POSTS AND MANY MORE THINGS!!! WE WILL BE BLOCKED FROM THE TRUTH!!! Also I do not know many things about the kosa bill, this is the limit of my knowlege, so I can't answer any questions. I'm sorry!

Yeah. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of the person who started smoking and kept smoking because they think it looks cool and doesn’t give a shit about all the warnings. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of the person who destroyed their liver because they just love drinking and didn’t stop even if they weren’t addicted. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of the person who never drinks water, only regular cola. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of the person who missed the trampoline when they jumped off the roof to impress their friends. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of every single person who had to have a surgeon remove something without a flared base from their assholes. I want my tax dollars to pay for all the kinds healthcare needed by all the kinds of people who decided to have sex without any kind of barrier. I want my tax dollars to help fix the teeth of meth users. I want my tax dollars to help everyone who’s been noncompliant with the doctor’s recommendations, everyone who’s been a hypochondriac in the ER, everyone who let things get bad before getting help.
Everyone is deserving.

I cannot stress enough how dangerous KOSA is.
killing safe spaces endangers people's lives. many minors and people in marginalized groups losing online friends and spaces can and will kill many people's happiness and in the worst case, the will to live.
I personally keep going because of my online friends. I will lose them if KOSA passes.
this is the same case for many minors (and adults) online.
censoring sexual health will be terrible for many. if there are people out there having sex without knowing the proper safety precautions to take to prevent injury/illness, it will be massively horrific.
all outcry for a ceasefire in Palestine and activism will be censored to oblivion.
if there are people who live in unsafe households, they might never be able to find safety until they become adults, which is far too late.
KOSA is a sick attempt to make the internet a place where there are few ways to be safe.
stop KOSA. it will literally save fucking lives.
sign petitions to stop it. please. spread awareness.

Hey.
Um there's a genocide that's been happening in Gaza for awhile now and anyone who hasn't should go read up and learn about the conflict and then spread awareness and send support to Palestine whether it be just promoting awareness or donating or protesting if there's one going on near you.
Ive reblogged a lot of stuff from links to go donate or educate even things that generate money from the ads on the site and all you gotta do is click a button.
I saw a post thats right, Gaza and Palestine and the stuff happening rn in Rafah should be top of the trending boards because everyone should know of the atrocities that Israel is committing against Palestinians. And if doing my best to jumble my feelings out on a text post I don't normally make will increase the trending of these tags and the awareness of what's going on then y'all will just have to ignore my shitty grammar.
People are dying out there, we should do our best in spreading awareness and sending aid to them.
They deserve to live. They deserve to grow old. They deserve to experience happiness.

I hear it is from February 17th to February 20th, But I am not 100% sure of the dates.
this blog and all others related to myself (like wooshztro) will be posting and interacting only with Palestine-related content.
I ask that you do the same. The Palestinian genocide will not be something we look back on in years and finally take in for the horror that it is.
