I am pushing patterns here, laying down some color, and then overlaying with fabric and rice paper. It’s a totally flat piece albeit colorful. I think I need to let the background recede more. 79 Mt. Pleasant. A mixed media ode to a stately old Victorian home in Gloucester, MA.. I had the pleasure of visiting close friends who lived in the upper story. From her high perch, we could see Gloucester’s inner harbor, and watch fireworks on Labor Day. I love old historic homes with their walled back-stories.
