I’m back!
Hi there (if you’re still here)
I’ve not used this blog since in years due to personal reasons, falling out of love with reading and just because I forgot tbh. Which is really sad. I’m a few years older now, I’ve fallen back in love with reading and I’m actively pursuing a career in Children’s Publishing (yay!) so I thought I should start using this platform again. So here I am.
During my I-don’t-read period I deleted my Goodreads page, which was a massive mistake and something I regret deeply. But I’ve created a new one and I’d really love it if you added me (as I have no friends and I’d love some company over there). My user name is Caroline Linnea.

Super Happy INFP’s
First of all, adorable
Either becomes super energetic or super sweet
Basically a puppy
Surprisingly stops having an existential crisis and just enjoys the moment
burSTING with inspiration and i d e a s
Should definitely be supervised
Stumbles on words as they talk quickly and proceeds to laugh at it
Chances are space, dreams, weird theories and story ideas are floating around in the their brain
Still manages to be deep tho
Ceases to give any fucks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I really liked this book.
The characters, the predictable twists, the unpredictable twists, the idea of a bookstore on a New England island surrounded by cliffs and the sea. The way reading can change communities and the individuals within them. The references to other books, the notes about the main character’s opinion of other books, the fact that he recommended The Book Thief to an eighty-two year old woman and she was scandalized that the narrator was Death.
So, yes: I really liked this one.
