Oh look, another blog

Hello dear readers. This blog of sorts is dedicated to my journey to becoming a high school English teacher and a published author. I’m 37 credits into 120 credit program for English with a concentration in creative writing. I plan on going for the alternate route to licensure in my state. I’ve spent all day watching YouTube videos of teachers setting up their classrooms and I’m super excited. I know, I know. Cart before the horse. I still have like 4-5 years of school left as I am a working adult and this will be a career change after 40. The part of me that was taught to choose a job that pays the bills and all that is freaking out but the free spirit that is dying to get out is clawing her way to the top. She will have the reigns someday. She will dance around the fire at midnight.
