Above is an excerpt from Hiro Shimono’s blog. This month.
Remember last month when Hiro Shimono’s neck and Kishou Taniyama’s mouth collided and caused my fangirl brain circuits to melt? If you don’t know what I’m talking about, CLICK HERE. Yup. It’s the return of Hickey Shimono. On July 13th, he reported about being ganged up on by Kishou Taniyama, Ryohei Kimura, and ManQ-san (who is that?). Anyhow, Kishou had his mind set on having a “Shimono Matsuri” (Shimono Festival). Kishou’s words, not mine. And the photo above is the result.
I didn’t get the details very well but here’s my limited understanding of what happened. After recording, Hiro and Kishou (and possibly others) went out to eat/drink. At this time, a still very sober Kishou mentioned something about having a Shimono Matsuri. Hiro didn’t comprehend and chose to just ignore and forget. At some point that evening, Hiro got a text message or e-mail from a director and headed off somewhere else. But when he went to the other place, Kishou, Ryohei Kimura, and ManQ cornered him there and had their Shimono Matsuri.
Hiro Shimono Level of Defense = 0.

95% complete transcription/translation of the Sharkbait skit from the Free! event
Rin: Haru, you remember what we said, back in elementary school?
Haru: What're you talking about?
Rin: You know, what we said that day at the swimming club.
Haru: I don't remember!
Rin: The promise we made day we compared our heights during the physical exam.
Haru: STOP! I don't want to he--
[Rin covers Haru's mouth]
[note: at some point here toward the beginning, to keep Rin from speaking, Haru grabs him by the goggles around his neck and nearly chokes him]
Rin: We always tied in elementary school, so whenever we reunited, the person who was taller would run 100 m carrying the person who was shorter--bridal style in his arms.
[note: this is personal hearsay, as I'm not 100% on my memory (hence why I didn't include it in my report), but Haru at one point asks Rin what on earth he gets out of carrying Haru around (i.e. why is he so insistent on it). Rin is silent for a while and never answers.]
[note: the transcriber admts her memory is kinda murky on the following bits]
Rin: Now, I'm 177 cm. What about you?
Haru: ..........................17.......
Rin: Huh? What was that?
Haru: 17............................5.
Rin: WOOHOO!
Haru: Wait! I'll grow another 3 cm by tomorrow!
Rin: The hell you will!
[note: I know there were some bits in here about Rin having a tougher time, since he'll be the one having to haul Haru around, so Haru needs to stop complaining, and Haru suggests they switch, to which Rin replies, "No thank you," in English.]
Haru: ...Fine. But--I have one request. At least...let me stay in my swimsuit!
Rin: HUH? That's blatantly making this even MORE difficult for yourself! Fine--then I'll do it in MY swimsuit too!
[both remove their clothing dynamically]
Haru: Let's go, Rin!
Rin: COME TO ME!
Nagisa: .....What on earth are those two doing?
Rei: Nagisa-kun, we mustn't watch. Those two just aren't right in the head...

To tell you the truth, he used to be someone I could barely stand. He’s also someone who always talks about crazy things, changes topics very often, is pushy, super greedy, who always spills things and doesn’t do his homework, messes with other people, and yesterday after swim practice on our way back, since we were both tired from swimming we fell asleep together and when I woke up he was drooling on my shoulder……………!!!!!!!** AND THIS HAPPENED A TOTAL OF 8 TIMES ALREADY!?!?! Nagisa-kun was the one who invited me into the swim club, and because of that I was able to meet Haruka-senpai and Makoto-senpai, as well as Rin-san. Because of him, I was able to notice the beauty of swimming. He was the one who completely changed my world. Even though he is pushy at times, he has an aura that I am attracted towards and……I guess you can say that thanks to that, he has me completely wrapped around his finger (laughs). I keep thinking to myself that I hope there will come a day when I can somehow return the favor.
Q: I'm sure if Nagisa-kun heard what you said, he'd be extremely delighted.
