Gotta love a cake that’s as fabulous as it is fun. Iridescent colours take centre stage effortlessly while geometric details add zest to the look.
P.S. Does this cake remind you guys of Gigi Hadid’s Versace gown she wore to the 2018 Met Gala?

Less is more with this minimalist-meets-botanic design. The team at Nine Cakes sure outdid themselves with this all-white confection, one in a collection of 10 equally magical cakes.

Have him put on a ring you can see yourself wearing for life

How to get the engagement ring you really want
1. Send him your Pinterest board Don’t be shy about it. It’s completely natural to have a Pinterest board filled with pictures and pictures of brilliant bling. Whether you prefer to drop hints yourself, or have a friend “casually” show him pics of rings you might like, at least he’ll know what to look out for when the time comes.
2. Use magazines Even if you’re not subscribed to bridal magazines yet, there’ll still be jewellery ads floating around on regular women’s magazines. Like your Pinterest board, save it in a folder, or have him sit down with you so you can let him know what you like, and what you don’t.
3. Say it with rings By wearing jewellery you already own, he might pick up some tips on what your future ring might look like. Of course, if he isn’t that observant, you could note the things you like about your accessory, which might give him a clearer idea when the time comes.
4. Go shopping Talking about getting engaged already? When you’re on dates, and happen to walk past a jewellery store or two, take a look at the displays, point out what you like or dislike, and move on. You don’t have to buy anything on the spot, but at least he’ll know your preference then.
5. Celeb inspiration He may not be able to afford the serious sparkler you see on some celebrities’ ring fingers, but set him in the right direction with the style and design you like.
6. Entrust a friend to do the job Ask a friend or family member who knows your style well, to pass on the message. Furnish her with pictures and Pins of your favourite rings, and tell her exactly what you like and dislike about each design. If he’s hinting about looking for the ring, you’ll know who he can seek help from. Although, don’t pressure him to seek a third party’s help if he’d rather embark on the search alone.
7. Design it together Not up for something you might not want to wear? Do your research together and determine the cut, size, style, so your ring doesn’t come as a complete shock. Although, if you’re still looking to be surprised, you might not know how the finished product might turn out, and you won’t know when he’ll propose.
8. Leave hints lying around This can come in the form of leaving your laptop open, to magazine spreads, a picture stuck in your notebook, and so on.

Garden stories are abound in this elaborate confection - from the prettily-painted teacup overflowing with spring blooms, to the ornate brass frames and book covers, and the shades of iridescent forest green.

Celebrate your heritage with richly decorated cakes for your wedding!
Red is considered an auspicious colour, and is used widely at Chinese weddings. The dragon and phoenix motifs, which are symbols representing the emperor and empress in ancient China, depict the groom and bride as such respectively.
The peony represents good luck, while the character on the second cake literally means “Double Happiness”.

A lovely way to incorporate your wedding flowers onto your cake. The pastel hues may be a classic amongst brides, but the cake’s rectangular shape, drip design, and gold votives add a modern, stylish touch.
