Nightmare - Leo
Willow found themself in a familiar place...one they'd hoped to never see again. But something was different this time, they weren't the one tied down. Someone else was on the table, a naked man. Willow's owner.
The burn of hatred filled the androids core, bubbling up in their chest until they let out a foul snarl. They watched the mans chest heave as Willow reached into a tool chest, pulling out a blade. The androids LED spun an angry red.
"Let me go you bitch." The man was furious.
Willow scowled, but said nothing. Instead they traced the knife over delicate skin. Across his thighs, up his stomach, and finally over a nipple. The man shivered in response, letting out a sharp gasp when the blade sliced into his chest and dragged downwards.
The android brought the sharp metal back to the mans chest, digging in deeper this time. The man screamed, writhing in his bonds. It felt good not to be on the receiving end for once. Willow dug their fingers into the wound, spreading it wide open, ripping into it. They reached for the blow torch they knew would be there.
"D-don't..." he croaked,"Please..."
Willow lit the torch,"You never stopped when I begged."
The flame burnt into the edges of the deep gash Willow had left in the mans chest. He shrieked far louder than the android ever thought possible. Much like Willow had done.
They found themself grabbing for the jar of squirmy little creatures that had terrorized Willow for so long. Willow didn't want to touch them with their hands, so they opened the jar and dumped them onto the mans chest.
A sick idea caused Willow's lips to curl into a cruel smile. They found themself grabbing at the mans genitals, taking pleasure in the way he flinched.
"Shall I get you off one last time?" They repeated the words that had been spoken to them years beforehand. The way the man sobbed was fascinating, but when Willow began to stroke the voice changed.
"Why..."
Willow's head snapped up, it was no longer their owner chained to the table, but Leo. The man they'd only just met, they withdrew their hand as if they'd been burned.
"Leo-I...you" they started
The android felt sick, what had they done? They found themself digging into the mans chest as he cried, desperately pulling the maggots from it. They hadn't meant to hurt him, he hadn't done anything to Willow. By the time they'd finished the man had gone still, for the first time Willow realized how much blood they'd spilled...they'd killed him. They'd killed an innocent man. This isn't what they wanted.
A sob escaped Willow's throat when they woke, they bit at their finger to try and quiet it as it rose in volume. They felt sick, they wouldn't be sleeping again any time soon.

Willow nodded nervously once they'd climbed into the cart," Yea, I've got him." They sat with their knees tucked to their chest. This isn't exactly how the android had expected to spend the night, but if they weren't caught then maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
They looked back at Leo and nodded as if to signal that they were ready. Willow had to wonder if he did this often. The guy was a little odd, but the android found that they were starting to like his company.

When he asked if Willow wanted a ride, the android cocked their head in confusion. Despite this, the android found themself smiling again, his nervous laugh was quite endearing to Willow.
They watched in wonder as he rode the cart, Willow had never done anything like that before. They’d never even thought of it, but they had to admit it did look fun.
“W-we won’t crash will we?” The android looked both nervous and excited,“You know, like you did?”
In the background Willow thought they heard voices, they tensed before making their way to the shopping cart,“We should go.”
Leo’s smile faltered a bit when they asked if he’d crash again. He looked around, taking note of the terrain, before shrugging his shoulders and looking back at Willow. “Nah, now that I’m on flat ground again, we should be safe.” The hill was up from there, and Leo had no intentions of going that way. He’d stick to the level ground going left and right of their current position.
As Willow picked up on the sound of voices, so did Leo, and he looked towards the source of the sound as it got closer. “Yeah, you’re right,” he quickly agreed with Willow as they said they should leave. “C’mon, let’s go.” He waved them over, ushering them into the cart so they could scram. “You got your rat?” he asked, getting ready for a running start.

Willow wanted to say thank you, but before they could the man had jumped off the car and pulled the shopping cart towards them. When he asked if Willow wanted a ride, the android cocked their head in confusion. Despite this, the android found themself smiling again, his nervous laugh was quite endearing to Willow.
They watched in wonder as he rode the cart, Willow had never done anything like that before. They'd never even thought of it, but they had to admit it did look fun.

When Leo asked about Willow’s name they nodded,“It’s my favorite tree,” they explained,“ My previous owner had one in his backyard…” They looked a little upset while saying that, their gaze lowering to the ground. But there head quickly snapped back up,“They’re beautiful.”
It was at this point the android realized Leo was still on top of the car,“Y-you should probably get off that…and we should probably leave before someone comes to investigate.” The android would like to avoid anymore humans if they could, others may not be as nice as Leo appeares to be, at least right now.
Leo also gave a small chuckle when they giggled. “Yeah, heh. I dodged a bullet with that one. I like Leo better than Leonard too.” As Willow went on to explain their name, the mousy brunet nodded his head, not catching on at all to the small moment of discomfort. “Yeah, they are pretty trees. You’ve got a nice name too.”
When they pointed out the car he was sitting on, Leo looked over to the lights still blinking and the obnoxious noises it was still making registered in his head. “Oh shit, you’re right.” He jumped off the car rather suddenly. Here, you want a ride?” Leo asked, going around to the other side of the vehicle and pulling the shopping cart around.
“I can get us away from here faster in this. That way no jerks can get us in trouble for my little crash accident,” he said with a nervous laugh. “Look, you can climb in and I can push us.” He kicked off and jumped onto the bar, riding the cart a few feet forward to demonstrate. “It’ll be fun.”

Willow walked through the door, grateful for the gesture. They smiled at Daniel once more before leaving.

Willow gave him an apologetic look,“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to waste your time.” They gave Daniel a soft smile,“ Thank you for the coat though…and for wanting me safe. I’ll be alright, I always am.”
“I should get going, it was nice seeing you though Daniel. “The android meant that, although the blonde could be a bit prickly it had been a sweet gesture. Both the willingness to walk them home and the coat, Willow would have to make sure it stayed clean.
Daniel just shrugged his shoulders, but inside he felt a little guilty. “Don’t worry about it. You’re fine,” he tried to reassure. “I’ll see you later, Willow. Take care of yourself.” He held the door open for them, hoping that the small gesture would show them that he wasn’t angry at them.

Willow let go of Daniel’s wrist upon realizing they were still holding it,“Sorry…” They bent down to pick up the coat, wrapping it around themselves,“ and thank you, I can give it back tomorrow if you’d like?”
Daniel raised an eyebrow at Willow as they grabbed his wrist, but he didn’t flinch. His LED slowly spun yellow before going back to blue as he processed the information Willow gave him about why they didn’t want him to go with them.
“I just wanted to make sure you were safe. I don’t care where you live,” he finally said. “But if you don’t want me knowing, that’s fine. I get it.” It’s not like he had been too keen on the idea of others finding out where he lived after everything he’d been through… everything he’d done.
As Willow let go of his wrist, the PL watched them put the coat back on with an unreadable expression on his face. “No. Keep it,” he replied flatly. “You need it more than I do. I’ve already got another one.” Daniel lifted his arm and plucked at the coat he’d already put on in preparation to take them home. “Just be careful on your way home, alright?”

Leo gave an anxious, but genuine, smile as Willow introduced themselves. He gave a slight nod of his head to confirm he knew their name now, then rubbed the back of his neck when they complimented his.
“Heh, thanks. It’s a shortened version of Leonard, which was apparently my grandfather’s name? I dunno. Never met the guy. But I was named after him. Not Leonard, just Leo. But, yeah…” He wasn’t the best at explaining things and it was pretty obvious he was awkward when it came to socializing. “Is Willow a name you chose yourself?” Leo asked, knowing that a lot of androids chose new names after deviating.

"N-no, that's not it at all," the android grabbed at Daniel's wrist without thinking, dropping the coat in the process. They weren't trying to upset him, they just didn't want him to know the circumstances of their living situation.
"It's...complicated," they said softly, averting their eyes,"I like having you around, but I'm scared of people knowing where I live. That's all." They looked at the other android with sincerity in their eye, hoping he'd understand.
Willow let go of Daniel's wrist upon realizing they were still holding it,"Sorry..." They bent down to pick up the coat, wrapping it around themselves," and thank you, I can give it back tomorrow if you'd like?"

Willow stayed in place, dumbfounded, but obedient no less. After awhile they began to wonder if the other android would come back at all. But right when they were about to leave he returned. When he offered Willow a coat, they took it, they didn’t want to admit that they had in fact been kind of cold.
They hesitated to put it on however when the blonde android spoke, feeling a stab of anxiety. The idea of anyone knowing where they lived made Willow nervous. While their main concern was the possible danger that knowledge could put them in, they also felt ashamed of their living conditions.
“No, that’s ok,“they offered the coat back,"I’ll be fine on my own.” They tried not to look as nervous as they felt.
They pulled out their pocket knife in an attempt to sound more convincing, “I have this, see?” They held it in their normally gloved hand. The undershirt they usually wore had fallen in mud when they’d been changing clothes the day before and they hadn’t been able to clean it yet. Duct-tape was helping hold their badly damaged pinky finger together, but they didn’t care at the moment. Willow was more concern with looking like they could take care of themself.
When Willow tried to refuse the coat and company, Daniel furrowed his eyebrows. The knife they pulled out was only slightly convincing. Knowing that they had something to protect themselves was nice, but Daniel highly doubted that Willow actually knew how to use it or would even be willing to. He frowned and sighed.
“Look, if you don’t want me around that’s fine,” he muttered, feeling a bit dejected but willing to let them do as they pleased. “I’ll let you go alone, but keep the coat, okay? It’s cold out and it’s just a spare of mine, so I don’t mind letting you keep it.”

The android stared for a moment, considering it as the little rat moved to their shoulder. They weren't really sure why they'd even asked the mans name, but it would be unfair not to share there's after he had already given it.
"Willow," they said softly," My name is Willow."
After that they paused, their head cooking to the side,"Leo is a nice name..." The android actually really liked it, it reminded them of lions; and if there's one thing Willow loved it was animals.

Seeing Willow greet it had Leo smiling slightly, still a little nervous, but glad to see that the android wasn’t as scared any more.
He jumped a bit when Willow spoke to him though, not expecting it. “Oh. Uh… Leo. My name’s Leo,” he replied. “Is… is it okay if I ask you what your name is?”

"Scuffles!" Willow grabbed the rat as it jumped into the androids arms. Their face instantly softened and for a moment they forgot the stranger was even there,"You came back!"
Willow petted the little rat, a small smile gracing their face. The andriod was just happy their little rat friend came back.
They got up on shaky legs, jolting in surprise when they saw the man on the hood of the car. It occurred to Willow that maybe the man really wasn't that dangerous if Scuffles had come back. Hesitantly, the cautious android addressed him,"W-what's your name?"

Willow stared back at the man as he raised his hands, cautiously watching him as he spoke. The android just about felt like crying and it showed, everything hurt and they didn’t know whether to believe the man or not. They were scared the man would hurt them despite the gentle tone.
On top of that they didn’t know where Scuffles was either, maybe the rat had heard the commotion and went home to hide. Recognizing they were about to make a scene in front of the stranger they forced themself too their knees.
“I…I’m…"their voice caught in their throat,“I’ll be ok,"their LED flickered red as they lied through their teeth,"You can leave, it’s ok,"they paused for a moment,"I was already broken before…this.” They vaguely gestured to empty air. It wasn’t exactly a lie, yes they’d been hurt, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as some of their previous experiences.
As Willow pushed themselves to sit up on their knees, Leo watched cautiously. He felt really bad, but they seemed pretty insistent that he leave. He wasn’t always able to pick up on people’s social cues, but they were telling him outright to go, and he didn’t want to upset them more. So, slowly, Leo raised himself up to his feet, hands still kept where Willow could see them.
“Okay,” he said softly. “I’ll leave you alone.” Leo kept his eyes on them, backing away a few steps before finally turning around. However, when he did, he saw a rat scuttle past him towards Willow and it caused him to startle. He jumped up on the hood of the car he’d crashed into, the alarm still sounding from it, and watched the rat run over to the android.
