i kinda wish ppl realized viewer count isn't a huge deal, and social media rlly makes ppl see numbers differently. (like imagine talking to a room of 700 ppl at once.) sure, i get being disheartened that the fandom feels smaller after so many shitty situations causing fans to leave (or go anti mode 💀) but ultimately the number of ppl here doesn't matter as much as ppl think. i'd rather we had an understanding, calmer fanbase that's smaller rather than a larger one that has many reactionary ppl, esp the ones that would qrt antis constantly and make a thing out of it, it just makes the fandom experience miserable to see drama/negativity spread onto the tl all the time.
