status update! i am NOT dead, managing this blog just became super overwhelming. i will probably still post, albeit less frequently! schedules are genuinely my nightmare, but i love my cats (scott and cleo) dearly and still wish to spread them around, because oh my god THEY ARR NOT NORMAL!!!!!! this is day 1 of me going off any sort of schedule and just posting for my own enjoyment :)

hey i’m alive! was taking an unofficial break due to personal stress ^^ though it definitely seems like a good time to come back!

genuinely just. go watch cleo’s episode, but ESPECIALLY the end. especially the mood as it’s just them and impulse and bdubs, and then once it’s just them. just listen to cleo. she’s so upset. she says she never thought she’d get this far. she doesn’t want to kill scott. she initially says she can fight pearl on the technicality but she can’t do that either. it’s just like. fuck man she chose and it’s not that she doesn’t like martyn because he and cleo have made up by then. they’re even. it’s that she can’t hurt scott.

and the thing is she could have won! cleo and martyn could have won! because once pearl kills impulse and bdubs, the three of them are there, and scott asks what now, and martyn immediately turns around and fires that firework crossbow at scott. and if cleo had just been willing to turn around and fight scott, they would have won right there! because scott wouldn’t have been good enough at pvp to easily stop both of them, not when he clearly focused on running.

but cleo and scott chose to be soulmates in session one and they talked about what they’d do at the end and they agreed not to hurt each other and maybe they both knew they would be sacrificing their ability to choose who won if it came down to it. maybe they didn’t want to think about it. cleo clearly didn’t.
