Michael Moore Just Told Trump The Top 6 Reasons Why He’s An “Illegitimate” President
Democratic activist and documentarian Michael Moore took to Facebook tonight to explain in six concise but devastating points how Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) is correct in his assessment that Donald Trump is an illegitimate president-elect.
Lewis’ comments prompted not one but two Twitter rants from our digitally deficient despot.
Moore’s analysis of Trump’s illegitimacy was more in-depth, citing Clinton’s overwhelming popular vote victory, Trump’s emotional immaturity and unpresidential volatility, Russian election interference, the FBI’s role in tilting public opinion against Clinton, the obvious corruption that Trump is embracing with his cabinet hires, and the fact that Trump is a serial sexual predator who will hopefully face justice for his many, many, crimes one day:
Here’s why Congressman and civil rights legend John Lewis is right that Trump “is not a legitimate President”:
1. Nothing, including an arcane, racist section of the constitution, can change the fact that 3 million more Americans voted for Hillary than for Trump. It’s either a democracy or it isn’t. If he had won by 3 million, I would sadly admit that Trump is the President the American people wanted. But that’s not what happened.
2. He is not well and needs help. He has a number of serious mental disorders that make him unfit to hold office — and they are on display every day in one cringe-worthy tweet after another. He is a full-blown malignant narcissist. He displays sociopathic tendencies. He will say one thing and 30 seconds later say the opposite. He is disconnected from the truth. And he has a stunning lack of human empathy. These behaviors make him a truly dangerous occupant of the Oval Office.
3. The Russians interfered with the election in order to get him elected. Even Trump now admits as much. That alone makes the election tainted and should be voided. We spend trillions on ridiculous weapons and ineffective police state-style homeland security measures to defend us against those who would “destroy our way of life”— but we are to remain silent when a foreign government is caught trying to get THEIR candidate elected as OUR president? AND they succeed! This is a joke of monstrous proportions — and the fact that conservatives, Republicans and patriotic good ol’ boys are actively defending this foreign aggression into our country confirms to me what I’ve feared all along: that they really hate our form of democracy, our Bill of Rights, our belief that “All men (sic) are created equal,” our one person-one vote system, that whoever scores the most points wins and that people of all religions are welcome here. They don’t believe that, and I’d respect them so much more if they would just simply admit it.
4. The FBI clearly chose sides, and FBI Director Comey’s interference in the 10 days before the election most-definitely helped tipped the balance to the FBI’s preferred candidate, Donald J. Trump. That our own federal police would so brazenly attempt to throw the election to the person with the least votes is mind-boggling, frightening and must be stopped. Attorney General Lynch must immediately, today, appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate what to me appears to be a criminal offense. If this is true, I want to see FBI Director Comey in handcuffs and behind bars. Short of murder and a few other heinous acts, is there a worse crime in our democracy than the highest ranking cop in the land attempting to throw the election?
5. Trump has nominated in Rex Tillerson the most powerful corporate CEO in the world as “our” Secretary of State. Why would the quarter-billionaire head of the world’s richest corporation want a “government job?” So that he, a personal friend of Putin’s, can get the US sanctions lifted off Russia so that his company, ExxonMobil, can get back to their exclusive oil deal with Russia — which will eventually net ExxonMobil three TRILLION dollars. This is nothing less than a bold, audacious robbery in broad daylight — and it says a lot about you and me that they think they can get away with it.
6. Trump has potentially committed a number of felonies — and a felon simply can’t sit in the Oval Office (I can’t believe I even have to state that). From his admitted sexual assaults to whatever he’s hiding in the tax returns, to possibly evading taxes, to his committing fraud with Trump U, to his long list of conflicts of interest — the chance of us having to suffer through his impeachment trial in the Senate is just too much to bear.
Donald Trump is, as John Lewis said, NOT a legitimate president. He is unfit, unstable and was elected with help from the Russian government. John Lewis has announced he will not attend the Inauguration, and eight other members of Congress today have joined him. Call (202-225-3121) or write your Congressperson and insist he or she not attend the swearing in of an illegitimate president. It’s the least you can do short of standing in front of this runaway train. — Michael Moore
We couldn’t agree more. Trump is unqualified to be our president and does not have a mandate from the people. He has shown little interest in actively governing while the Republican Party gleefully prepares to strip the meat from the carcass of the American middle class, putting our national security in danger in order to fulfill the agendas of their oligarch masters. Trump is a puppet of the Kremlin who is tearing down our republic bit by bit. He is as illegitimate as they come, and he should not be sworn in next week.

Strangers buy car for 20-year-old Texas man who walks 3 miles to work every day
When Andy Mitchell spotted a young man in a fast food uniform walking along the side of a road on a 95-degree summer day in Rockwall, Texas, he felt compelled to pull over.
He rolled down his window and offered the man, a 20-year-old named Justin Korva, a ride — not knowing how much that small gesture would impact the man’s life.
While driving the Korva to work at Taco Casa, Mitchell discovered the young man normally walked 3 miles to work and home again every day. Korva said he was determined to save up money and someday, he hoped, he would be able to afford a car.
After dropping off Korva, Mitchell posted about the man’s determination on Facebook.
“To all the people that say they want to work but can’t find a job or don’t have a vehicle all I can say is you don’t want it bad enough,” Mitchell wrote.
Justin Korva walks 3 miles to and from work every day in Rockwall, Texas.
Facebook/Andy Mitchell
Hundreds of people in the community saw his post, including Samee Dowlatshahi, owner of Samee’s Pizza Getti Italian Bistro & Lounge in Rockwell.
Dowlatshahi offered to put a donation box inside his pizza joint to aid Korva in his quest to buy a car.
In less than 48 hours, with some help from Mitchell, they’d raised more than $5,500.
That’s when Danny Rawls, general sales manager at Toyota of Rockwall and a friend of Dowlatshahi, heard Korva’s inspiring story.
“I presented it to my general manager and said, ‘Hey, let’s help the kid. It seems like a great story,'” Rawls told CBS News.
His boss agreed, and the pair reduced the price on a 2004 Toyota Camry that was available.
“I sent [Dowlatshahi] a private message and said, ‘Give me a call. I have a nice car that would work for the kid,'” Rawls explained.
Not only did they have enough money to buy the car, they had enough left over to pay for his insurance for a year, plus two years’ worth of oil changes and a $500 gas card.
Last Friday, they drove the white 2004 Camry to Taco Casa and asked Korva to come outside.
“Justin, you can’t imagine all the people who wanted to help you,” Mitchell said, as several people filmed the exchange on their cellphones in the restaurant parking lot. “So, instead of walking to work, buddy, you’re driving this car from now on.”
Korva looked at Mitchell in disbelief, “Are you serious?”
“It’s your car! This is your car,” Mitchell repeated.
Justin Korva poses for a picture after getting keys to a 2004 Toyota Camry outside of his work in Rockwall, Texas.
Facebook
Korva gave each man a hug, wiping tears from his eyes as he walked toward the car.
“We just want you to know, seriously, this community, nothing we love better than to have someone who works hard,” Dowlatshahi said. “We take a lot of pride in that. It’s so hot out here, I can’t believe you walk even one mile in this heat.”
Later that day, Rawls helped Korva complete the paperwork on the car and put the title in his name.
“Surreal” is the only word Rawls could use to describe the moment he watched Korva walk away with the keys.
“He’s a very humble young man and accepted it with stride,” Rawls said. “There couldn’t have been more of a deserving individual, for sure.”

Go to US Virgin Islands for Vacation in 2017 for $300 in Travel Credit
You wouldn’t expect the US Virgin Islands to have to pay people to go there. North Dakota, maybe. Saskatchewan, sure. But St. Croix? It’s a tropical paradise with no language barriers where you don’t even need a passport. We should be banging down the doors to get in, not the other way around.
Not that the USVI is hurting for tourism, really, but to honor the 100th anniversary of the US taking control of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix from Denmark, the islands are offering visitors $300 to spend exploring the place. That’s right: three bills to dole out hiking, kayaking, touring, swimming, and eating your way through the Virgin Islands.

7 sailors died on board the USS Fitzgerald. Here are their stories.
From top left to right: Xavier Alec Martin, 24; Shingo Alexander Douglass, 25; Dakota Kyle Rigsby, 19; Carlos Victor Ganzon Sibayan, 23. From bottom left to right: Ngoc Truong Huynh, 25; Noe Hernandez, 26; and Gary Leo Rehm Jr., 37. (U.S. Navy via AP)
First came the crash, then the rushing waters — and then, the wave of grief.
The grief swelled after divers found seven bodies in the wreckage of the USS Fitzgerald off the coast of Japan this weekend. It washed across the United States, through dire phone calls, texts and solemn visits.
It reached the family of a 19-year-old firefighter whohad enlisted in the Navy the year before, and the wife of a 19-year veteran who had been planning his retirement, and fell upon households from Connecticut to the southern end of Texas — people with little more in common than a sudden, immense loss on the other side of the world.
A Navy chaplain brought the news to Halethorpe, Md., where personnel specialist 1st class Xavier Martin had lived.
On Father’s Day, Martin’s bereaved father stood in front of a CBS WJZ news crew and covered his mouth with his hand.
“He’s my only child,” Darrold Martin said. “He’s all I have.”
The father looked at the tattoo on his arm. His son, 24, had one to match, he said.
He looked at his phone. “He was trying to — all the comms were down. He was trying to call me,” he said.
The Fitzgerald collided with a ship four times its size off the coast of Japan in early-morning darkness. Military officials still don’t know what happened exactly, but it is clear that sailors tried to save each other in the aftermath. A woman told the Associated Press that four of those killed slept in the same room with her son, who had repeatedly dived into the flood trying to save them.
As rescuers searched for 37-year-old Gary Rehm Jr., a shipmate stayed on board the listing Fitzgerald and texted reports to his wife in the United States, Rehm’s mother-in-law told The Washington Post.
“She said she wasn’t leaving the ship until they found him,” Joan Braniff said. “They kicked her off, and she stayed on the pier until they found him.”
Now Erin Rehm is a widow. They had been married for nearly all of the fire controlman’s 19-year Navy service, Braniff said.
“You could tell right from the start he just adored her,” she said. They sang karaoke on a PlayStation in Hampton, Va., when he was home. They talked many times each day when he was deployed, as he had been on the Fitzgerald for nearly two years, according to the Navy.
“He was supposed to be coming home in September,” Braniff said.
And next year, she said, Rehm was planning to retire from the military and stay home for good.
“I assumed they would be together forever,” Braniff said.
Two hours up the highway from the home that Rehm will never return to, the Lake Monticello volunteer fire department held a news conference over the weekend to announce the death of Dakota Rigsby — 19 and one of their own.
An assistant chief called him a “good kid” and good firefighter, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported. He’d left tiny Palmyra, Va., last year to become a gunner’s mate seaman. Stars and Stripes reported that Rigsby got to meet the secretary of the Navy before his last night on the Fitzgerald.
In Oakville, Conn., the sister of 25-year-old sonar technician Ngoc Truong Huynh remembered him as a quiet, sweet, selfless man who had not always desired a military life.
“But he wanted to do something adventurous,” Huynh’s sister told the Hartford Courant. So he enlisted about two years before his death.
From the town of Weslaco near the Texas-Mexico border, gunner’s mate Noe Hernandez had spent eight years in the Navy, and in that time impressed his family with photos from Italy and the Pacific Ocean.
“We all came from poverty in Guatemala,” Aly Hernandez-Singer told CBS 11. “He was the one who made it.”
Now the photos he’d sent home were how his cousin remembered him, while his wife mourned him with their young son.
Carlos Victor Sibayan grew up with a military father who was often absent, deployed on a ship somewhere, his mother told NBC 7.
So Sibayan had assumed a patriarch’s role as a child, and helped raise his younger siblings outside San Diego.
“One thing that my son always told me is he has my back,” Carmen Sibayan told the station.
He was still a teenager in 2013, when he followed his father’s example and enlisted. During the three years he’d spent on board the Fitzgerald, his mother said, his father had retired from the military and come home.
Her son, a fire controlman, had been due to leave the ship and join them back in California in less than a month, she said. Then came the crash.
“We just borrow this time from God,” the mother said.“So now he has to go back.”
The final victim from the wreck in Japan, Yeoman 3rd Class Shingo Douglass, also grew up in the country.
The son of a Marine stationed in Okinawa in the late 2000s, Stars and Stripes reported, he was remembered as the class clown at a U.S. military-run high school.
Douglass’s family moved to California before he graduated from high school in 2010, the San Diego Union Tribune reported. Four years later, he enlisted in the Navy and soon after returned to Japan.
His early duties on the Fitzgerald were menial — sanding, painting, raising and lowering the rafts, according to a Navy news release quoted by the paper. But Douglass told the Navy he was proud of his work, and excited to be in the military.
Service was important to the family, retired Master Sgt. Stephen Douglass told the Union Tribune, shortly after his son’s death.
“My mind’s going a mile a minute,” the elder Douglass said. “We’re still in sort of a state of shock.”

Giuliani Just Said He Never Saw Clinton On 9
Politics
Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York and the man who made exploiting the tragedy of 9/11 into a political career, is suddenly forgetting the details of 9/11. The devoted Trump surrogate took to the campaign trail today, where he said that“he didn’t see [then New York Senator] Hillary Clinton in New York City” following the September 11th, 2001 hijacking attacks by Saudi Arabian terrorists.
This is extremely confusing, because there’s photographic evidence of them standing right next to each other.
On previous occasions, Giuliani has also forgotten that 9/11 happened at all – like when he said there had never been any terrorist attacks in the United States before President Obama was elected. Such a selective memory in such a disrespectful way for such a heinous political candidate is just the lowest of the low – and Giulani should be ashamed of himself for daring to say these things about Senator Clinton.
For him to imply that Senator Clinton didn’t care about the people of New York or the Americans that had just died is enormously cruel and entirely baseless. The right-wing works overtime to present this image of Hillary Clinton as cold, emotionless, uncaring – when in fact she’s devoted her entire career to the service of the American people, and it’s astonishing to see reality flaunted so casually by this senile old man.

State Department Inspector General Confirms It, Hillary Stole 6 BILLION While Secretary
Back when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, she was in charge of some finances at the State Department. Now that is a big deal and it should be taken very seriously. Not many people can say that they have handled that type of money before.
Considering that we’re talking about billions and billions of dollars, it’s not something that should be taken lightly. But since this is Clinton we are talking about, it’s safe to say that something went wrong. That seems to be the case whenever we discuss something with Clinton.
What a surprise, Clinton messed something up! She LOST $6 BILLION while at the State Department. That is absolutely disturbing to think about! It’s one thing to drop a dollar and lose it, but $6 billion? That is flat out ridiculous!
And it has drawn the attention of Donald Trump and other Republicans. During the debate last night, Trump called her out on it. “When you ran the State Department, $6 billion was missing. How do you miss $6 billion? Six billion dollars was either stolen, they don’t know. It’s gone.”
Clinton attempted to reply to that. “Well, first of all, what he just said about the State Department is not only untrue, it’s been debunked numerous times.” Raise your hand if you have heard this one before; Clinton LIED.
It was the State Department’s Inspector General that found in THREE SEPARATE INVESTIGATIONS and two audits that $6 billion was lost to contract mismanagement, fraud, and incompetence during Clinton’s tenure. This woman lost that amount of money because of mismanaged contracts, fraud and several other things and she wants to be the leader of the nation?
That is an absolutely terrible idea! On top of that she attempted to lie and say that it was debunked. It’s very hard for something to be debunked when the Inspector General is the person who found it! What happened was that in 2014 the Inspector General found the reports that were responsible for the financial loss.
He found that the reports showed that State Department officials had LOST contract files and had incomplete contract files. That alone led taxpayers “to substantial financial losses.” So Clinton’s incompetence and inability to handle contracts cost the taxpayers money!
In fact those failures are responsible for creating “conditions conducive to fraud, as corrupt individuals may attempt to conceal evidence of illicit behavior by omitting key documents from the contract file.” The fact that they left out details that were important to the case is evidence enough that Clinton shouldn’t be eligible to run the country.
If she lost this much money because she was unable to handle some documents, then how can we trust her with anything that is related to the safety of the United States? That is something that shouldn’t even be questioned and yet we are questioning it!
“It impairs the ability of the department to take effective and timely action to protect its interests and, in turn, those of taxpayers. Finally , it limits the ability of the government to punish and deter criminal behavior.” This limits the ability to punish people that caused this! Clinton literally got away with some more criminal activity.
The watchdog group Cause of Action Institute filed Freedom of Information Act requests because the Inspector General’s reports only had summaries that were made public. They asked for the full texts of everything that was released.
Washington Post “fact-checker” Glenn Kessler attempted to discredit Trump’s first claim that Clinton lost the $6 billion by saying that “paperwork was missing, not dollars” and that most of the losses occurred during the Bush administration.
Clinton does have the media on her side, so they are going to do what they can to make sure that nothing can be used to hurt her chances of being president. But this also proves that they are going to lie on her behalf. Because this “fact-checker’s” claim ended up being wrong as well.
The Inspector General’s point was that the missing contract paperwork, which federal law REQUIRES State Department officials to maintain, resulted in “substantial financial losses.” So it was the fault of Clinton and her staff that was the cause of all this.
The other thing to note was that while the Fact-Checker claimed that most of these cases happened under President Bush, it was really under Clinton! He said many of these cases arose during the tenure of Secretary Hillary Clinton” and that nothing was done to correct the problems that she inherited. It’s very hard to correct something if you’re not doing anything to help yourself.
Conservative Daily Post has covered this event before. There was something written about the first time that Clinton was ever implicated with the $6 billion scandal. As with everything else that Clinton has done, she has magically gotten away with it. That is something that shouldn’t happen.
Of course Clinton seems to be able to do anything and not get in trouble. She literally sent a security guard out to attack a Trump supporter and make sure that he somehow learned his lesson. That is something that a current presidential candidate is doing. How professional.
Share this article to show that Trump was right all along. It was during the tenure of Clinton as Secretary of State that showed that they somehow lost $6 billion because of fraud and general mismanagement. And now she wants to manage the country. What else can she mess up in this country?
This is just another reason to vote for Trump. Clinton thinks she is all high and mighty for saying that Trump is a terrible businessman for losing nearly $1 billion. So how do you explain the fact that you lost $6 billion of TAXPAYER money?
If you haven’t checked out and liked our Facebook page, please go here and do so.

Soros Lost Nearly $1 Billion in Weeks After Trump Election
Billionaire hedge-fund manager George Soros lost nearly $1 billion as a result of the stock-market rally spurred by Donald Trump’s surprise presidential election.
But Stanley Druckenmiller, Mr. Soros’s former deputy who helped Mr. Soros score $1 billion of profits betting against the British pound in 1992, anticipated the market’s recent climb and racked up sizable gains, according to people close to the matter.
The divergent bets of the two traders are a stark reminder of the challenges even acclaimed investors have faced following Mr. Trump’s unexpected victory. Many experts had predicted a tumble for stocks in the wake of the election, but instead the Dow Jones Industrial Average has climbed 9.3%.
Last year, Mr. Soros returned to trading at Soros Fund Management LLC, which manages about $30 billion for Mr. Soros and his family. Mr. Soros was lured back by the opportunities to profit from what he saw as coming economic troubles.
Mr. Soros was cautious about the market going into November and became more bearish immediately after Mr. Trump’s election, according to people close to the matter. The stance proved a mistake — the stock market has rallied on expectations that Mr. Trump’s policies will boost corporate earnings and the overall economy.
As a result, some of Mr. Soros’s trading positions incurred losses approaching $1 billion, the people say. Mr. Soros adjusted his positions and exited many of his bearish bets late last year, avoiding further losses, the people added.
The broader portfolio held by Mr. Soros’s firm performed better, posting profits before and after the election from long-held investments in sectors including financials and industrials, according to people familiar with the firm. Those gains helped Soros Fund Management gain about 5% on the year.
Mr. Soros, chairman of the firm, continues to trade a portion of Soros Fund’s cash and his positions often are quite volatile, the people said. The firm is currently interviewing candidates for a vacant chief investment officer position. Some close to the firm say Mr. Soros could play a reduced trading role when someone is hired to fill the role. In recent years, the 86-year-old billionaire has focused on public policy and philanthropy. He was a large contributor to the super PAC backing Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and has donated to other groups supporting Democrats.
Mr. Druckenmiller, who left Mr. Soros’s firm in 2000 and now invests his own money, took a very different stance on the presidential election.
Days before the election, Mr. Druckenmiller predicted to an investor that if Mrs. Clinton emerged victorious the stock market likely would rally initially but then would fall. Mr. Druckenmiller said if Mr. Trump won the election, the opposite result likely would occur — stocks first would tumble and then soar.
Mr. Druckenmiller’s call was prescient.
Stock futures fell sharply on the evening of Mr. Trump’s victory, but the market has since surged. Mr. Druckenmiller has publicly said on television that he exited bearish positions on the night of the election, for example, selling long-held gold. He also became bullish on certain sectors of the stock market, and said he was shorting bonds globally and expected the dollar to rally against the euro.
These trades have paid off as Mr. Druckenmiller’s firm, Duquesne Family Office LLC, scored gains of more than 10% in 2016, the people say. As a private office, the firm doesn’t have to disclose its assets under management.
Mr. Druckenmiller also was politically active during the campaign, donating to Ohio Gov. John Kasich. Overall, Mr. Druckenmiller gave about $3.5 million to Republican candidates, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, while Mr. Soros gave more than $20 million to Democratic candidates during the 2016 election cycle.
In October, Mr. Druckenmiller told Reuters that he backed Republican candidates for Congress in the hope of creating a “firewall” against Mrs. Clinton’s likely economic policies, including more government control of health care. He also said Mr. Trump had an “unstable personality,” and Mr. Druckenmiller added that he might not vote in the presidential election.

Louisiana Officer Sentenced to 40 Years in Shooting Death of 6-Year-Old
The Louisiana law enforcement officer found guilty of manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy with autism has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Derrick Stafford, 33, was sentenced to 40 years without parole for manslaughter in the death of Jeremy Mardis and 15 years for the attempted manslaughter of Christopher Few. The sentences will run concurrently.
Stafford and another deputy city marshal attempted to pull Few over in Marksville, Louisiana, in 2015 and engaged in a two-mile car chase before opening fire.

Few said he stuck his hand out the window in a sign of surrender, but bullets continued to tear through his vehicle, according to NBC News affiliate WDSU News 6.
Few was wounded. Jeremy was shot five times in the head and chest, killing him.
Norris Greenhouse Jr., 25, the officer with Stafford at the time, is also facing second-degree murder charges.
Greenhouse’s trial will take place later this year.

Stafford and Greenhouse — who were moonlighting as deputy city marshals on the night of the shooting — were also with two additional officers at the time of the shooting. Those law enforcement officers didn’t open fire on Few’s car that night.
During an emotional trial, Stafford wept when he saw photographs of the dead child, saying he wouldn’t have fired knowing a boy was in the car.
“Never in a million years would I have fired my weapon if I knew a child was in that car. I would have called off the pursuit myself,” Stafford said.
Stafford said his reason for opening fire was that he feared Few would reverse and run over Greenhouse. But prosecutors said the officers were at a safe distance from the car and weren’t in any danger.

Mexican woman in Texas sentenced to 8 years in prison for voter fraud
A Mexican citizen living in Texas was sentenced this week to eight years in prison for voting illegally in elections in 2012 and 2014.
Rosa Maria Ortega, 37, was found guilty Wednesday on two counts of illegal voting after she falsely claimed to be a United States citizen and voted at least five times between 2012 and 2014.
A jury sentenced her Thursday to eight years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
The Dallas News reported Ortega voted in the November 2012 election and May 2014 GOP primary runoff in Dallas County.
According to Fox 4 News, Ortega’s identity came into question after she tried to register to vote twice in Tarrant County. Both applications were denied.
She had voted in five elections in Dallas before her registration was canceled in April 2015.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton – for whom Ortega voted in 2014 – assisted in the prosecution.
“This case shows how serious Texas is about keeping its elections secure, and the outcome sends a message that violators of the state’s election law will be prosecuted to the fullest,” he said.
According to the New York Times, Ortega was born in Monterrey, Mexico and brought to the U.S. by her mother as an infant. More than a decade later, her mother was deported and Ortega became a permanent resident.
In her defense, Ortega testified that she didn’t understand the differences between the rights granted to citizens and the rights granted to legal residents.
“My mom just used us to get stamps. She never gave us love or guidance. She got deported,” she said, according to Fox 4. “All my life since I worked, I always on my knowledge thought I was a U.S. citizen because I never knew the difference of U.S. citizen and U.S. resident. And the point is if I knew, everything would’ve been the correct way.”
The Dallas News reported that prosecutors showed that Ortega has checked a box on her driver’s license form indicating she was not a citizen.
However, the Dallas County election administrator said Ortega had filled out a voter application and checked that she was a citizen in 2015.
Voter fraud became a hot topic after President Trump made an unsubstantiated claim that he would have won the popular vote if millions had not voted illegally.
In addition to the long prison sentence, Ortega is likely to be deported, her lawyer Clark Birdsall said.
“She’ll do eight years in a Texas prison,” he told the Times. “And then she’ll be deported, and wake up blinking and scratching in a country she doesn’t know.”

Mom posts amazing photos of her babies, miscarried at 7 and 8 weeks, on Facebook
Mindy Raelynne Danison has suffered through two tragic miscarriages – one with the baby at seven weeks, and the other at eight weeks and five days. In response, Mindy created a Facebook photo album for each child, where she publicly celebrates their short, but much-loved lives. Mindy’s photos – especially one of Annabelle – have been shared on social media, and Mindy has expressed her desire for many to see her tiny babies. Their humanity could not be more obvious.
For more information on the development of babies at this stage – including amazing videos, ultrasounds, and photos – see The Endowment for Human Development. Eighty nine percent of abortions occur in the first trimester, when many babies look just like Riley and Annabelle. At only seven to eight weeks old, babies can touch their faces and their feet. At this stage of gestation, preborn babies can squint and roll over, and their hindbrain “presents striking resemblance to that of the newborn.”
About Riley, Mindy writes:
He went to heaven November 6th but was born November 23. We are blessed to have got to meet our little one. Life is incredibly beautiful! We went to walmart, then at 1pm on the way to mom’s house i started having contractions. They got more intense. When i got to mom’s i got into the tub and had my beautiful amazing little Riley at 3:35pm. Home water birth is what i’d always dreamed of having and i finally got to. Seeing Riley has brought me peace and comfort. I love him and God will care for him for me until i can be with him again. baby Riley is estimated to being 7.5 weeks, Riley was born at 10 weeks.
Since Riley waited for two-and-a-half weeks in Mindy’s womb to be born, his skin is somewhat discolored, but he is still beautiful, and powerfully illustrates the humanity of children at the youngest ages.
To see more beautiful babies who are changing the abortion debate and showing the world the humanity of the preborn, take a look at Walter (19 weeks old), Nathan, (13 weeks old), and identical twins Chase and Cooper (22 weeks old).
