Ahahaha, YESSSS! :D Pathologic is one of those things that my mind has on the backburner at all times - getting into it during the first wave of the pandemic lockdowns just after I got my bachelor's degree and started master's program might have done something permanent to my brain chemistry, hAH (and then I read the Young Doctor's Notebook and I was ultimately screwed)
I actually haven't drawn Artemy outside some silly doodles that never saw the light of day. I'm a shameless Daniil enjoyer, love putting that funky little man through the Horrors (Marble Nest my beloved). So I thought I'd give it a try! Local man too tired but hair still fluffy! (because he doesn't have time to brush it, there are 5 infants in his inventory and he traded the hairbrush for 3 marbles and a piece of chalk)

My goal is to make three parts each about 15-20 pages long but if I need more pages I’ll use more pages. I have a rough draft for the full story and am almost done with the drafting the first part!

The origins of a curse, both well intended and selfish.
(read up down then left to right)
In my mind Skyfire’s curse is a lot like Eda’s (from the owl house). It’s manageable with magical medicine, but not really curable. For better or for worse their lives have been permanently intertwined.
Periods of high stress can also cause a transformation, and it gets worse the more he isolates himself. Hurts more to transform and is harder to return. (Yes maybe this is about how connections with others help us and isolation can often make healing harder).
The best ending is not one of being cured, but one learning how to manage, live and thrive alongside the ones you love.
